5 /5 Gemma Legrand: No wonder Da Nico is rated No.1 in Crawley, it truely is a gem thanks to the shining staff Emilia and Mario providing such charm and an outstanding service from welcome to goodbye. We had such a positive experience and left feeling elated. I cant believe Ive not been before, and definitely will return again soon. The food was delicious,we had mussels to start, and the sauce was so flavoursome we asked for extra bread (simple but divine) to devour it. We figured why not get a pizza and a pasta dish to share. The huge Calzone was perfection, containing Mozzarella, Mascarpone, Ham, Spinach and Mushroom. Along with a generous plate of their Crab Parpadelle which was so moreish and tasty. I had two glasses of the Grillo white wine which I really enjoyed. I highly recommend you visit, Mario and Emilia will look after you beautifully, big thanks to them for a very memorable evening.

3 /5 Melissa Liddicoat: Overall we had a good meal, but the scallops special was slightly disappointing, the scallops were chewy and the sauce they were served with was completely bland. The Bruschetta was delicious, that was a great dish! We both had a Calzone which was lovely, really great and so tasty. As we were so hungry we also ordered a Lasagne to share, it tasted like it was frozen and had been re-heated, sadly it was also a bit bland. The dessert was great, one of the nicest Panecotta’s I’ve had and the service was good - both waiting staff were super friendly and attentive. I really wanted to love this place as it has such great reviews, hopefully if we go back it’ll be a better experience!

5 /5 Paul Sexstone: Outstanding food and service! What a fantastic restaurant. So glad we visited whilst in the area for a pre-theatre meal. All of our food, from the Melanzane parmigiana and garlic bread with cheese starters to our pizza and lasagna mains were utterly delicious! If we’re ever back in the area (we live in SW London) we will definitely be back. Would recommend this wonderful restaurant to anyone who appreciates great food and service. Thanks for a wonderful meal. Congratulations to you all on such high standards.

5 /5 Fabian Jungmann: We went here for a Thursday lunch. Its obvious that Crawleys Thursday lunch scene isnt the UKs busiest, and so we were the only customers for lunch. They had a lunch set menu of either 2 or 3 courses, but we found the regular menu priced reasonably too and had a cheesy garlic bread starter and then a pizza each as a main. The service was excellent, not intrusive, but always there when we would have liked her to be. The chef came out to serve the starter, which was a nice touch. As for the food, we both really enjoyed the pizzas and they were genuinely some of the better ones we’ve have in a while! One of my most recent pizzas was at Sorbillo’s in Naples, and this one was very very close to that! They were large enough that neither of us managed to finish ours, and we ended up taking the leftovers home. We hadn’t been to Da Nico’s before, and this was a very welcome surprise. Can definitely recommend coming here, and presumably it’s busier in the evening!

5 /5 Demi H: Visited yesterday (day after Valentines Day) with my husband, for the first time. Restaurant was quiet but I sort of expected that on a Sunday evening the day after Valentines Day! The waiter who looked after us (Im so sorry, I didnt get your name!) was amazing. He was great with recommendations, very attentive, friendly and polite, and to top it off, he gave my husband a rose to give to me and then when I accidentally left my bag in the restaurant, he chased us a fair way down the high street to return it, on a cold wet evening! He went above and beyond and he is a credit to the restaurant. Will definitely be returning, food was great too but the hospitality was even better. The only niggle I have is because it was so quiet in the restaurant, we felt like we had to whisper because the music was also very quiet and didnt want everyone else listening into our conversation! Thanks again for a lovely meal, we will definitely be back!
