Granero Lounge - Hillingdon

Rating: 4.3 /5
Travel. Eat. Live. More. We went to Granero Lounge in Ruislip for a Sunday night dinner. We had a great experience as usual. The atmosphere in the evening is a lively and friendly atmosphere. The decor is brilliant too. The candles on the tables add a cosy and romantic element to the atmosphere. The service was great too. As always the staff are super friendly and the food came out quickly! The gluten free menu is huge with loads of choices of food. I had the gluten free Louisiana Fried Chicken with chips, coleslaw and a maple bbq sauce. The Louisiana Fried Chicken Tenders were delicious. I love the texture of the coating and the chicken was delicious and tender. The chips are nice too, again they tasted delicious and had a nice texture. The coleslaw was fresh, creamy and tasty. I liked the flavour of the Maple BBQ sauce. Portions were reasonable as well. My Lemonade was tasty and fresh too. Again for a small size of Lemonade the portion was reasonable. This is the perfect place in Ruislip to get good quality food at not ridiculously expensive prices and a place that you can count on to serve the food quickly, that has welcoming and friendly service and a chilled atmosphere. Also the location is ideal in the middle of Ruislip High Street not too far from Ruislip train and bus station. It is not too far from Ruislip Lido and Heathrow Airport. Great evening at Granero Lounge, well done to the team at Granero! See you very soon.

Karen James What a wonderful little gem this new local restaurant is. My friend and I went for dinner last night and tried one of the set dinner menus. It was a real treat and also very well priced. The restaurant, on the first floor of the building, is lovely and contemporary with tastful modern decoration. They served a lovely Indian meal and after chatting to the chef at the end of the meal to compliment him on the lovely food, discovered they are also doing Sunday roasts and soon, an Italian selection. Cant wait to come back again.

Zabi Staffs are very friendly and welcoming. Food was 7/10. I asked for beef biryani, I was expecting more meat but got like 4 little pieces. Maybe that is normal. I tried their tea, it was okay. I have attached their most recent menu.

The Botanist Reading - Berkshire

Gayathri Gopal I had a wonderful experience at Botanist Reading. The ambience was amazing and the food was really good – the lamb kebab, in particular, was excellent. A special mention to Vivianne, who was very attentive and explained everything in detail, making the experience even better. Great service overall! 5 stars for sure!

The Merge Restaurant -

Justice Rosegreen The food was flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the loaded plantain and the various rice options. Unfortunately, I was too hungry to take more pictures of the food. However, the chicken box is a great value for the price. The service was a bit slow, and it’s worth noting that this establishment is outdoors, covered with heaters, but still exposed to the elements. The atmosphere was pleasant, with great music. However, I wish the seating was more comfortable. Everything felt a bit sticky to the touch. Despite these minor issues, I would consider returning if I were in the area.

First Jerk - Croydon

caroline osella Just the best in Croydon so far. The lunchtime queue tells you all you need to know. Rice and peas, veg, 3 big bits of chick, six quid. Plantain, stew, all that.
