The Bishop - Kingston upon Thames

Malshyan Lokubalasuriya Went to The Bishop for a Sunday roast and had a really lovely experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a nice, relaxed Sunday vibe that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the afternoon. The roast itself was well cooked, generous, and very satisfying. exactly what you want from a proper Sunday lunch. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, which was a nice bonus. What really stood out though was how friendly and welcoming the staff were, attentive without being overbearing and genuinely pleasant throughout. Would definitely recommend for a laid back Sunday roast and will happily return.

DeepDownDirty Record Label Always lovely to find a good independent coffee shop and Fortunellas food is good. They dont skimp on quality. Their eggs are the rich golden-yolked variety and you can tell just by looking at their bacon it is good quality bacon. Same goes for their sausages. Service was fine. The café is a little small and a bit cold but I didnt mind that in exchange for good food. I usually look at my partners English breakfast with some disdain (because so many cafés dont use good quality produce) but this time I was begging him to let me taste a little. My burrata was ok. Not the best I have ever had but ok. I loved the salsa and homemade pesto around the edge of my plate. My partners mushrooms were also cooked to perfection and not slimy! Great work! Coffee was good. This café is not suitable for small children, buggies or wheelchairs due to the size and entrance and the toilet is upstairs.

T F Delicious pancakes & Panko Prawns cooked to perfection. Not a fan of the ripped flag waving when the buzzer goes off - people should just get up and collect their food. The bar stuff were a bit plain in service but the team on the floor had good energy. Highly recommend, really cool spot, great music, lovely food.

subash shrestha I must say, it was the finest Nepalese cuisine I’ve ever experienced, featuring distinctive variations of dishes. From the exquisite presentation to the flavorful food, refreshing drinks, and delightful desserts, everything was truly exceptional and unique.

Pub Reviewer-UK Food here was fantastic, the staff were super friendly, helpful and attentive. We came here on a whim as we were passing with some friends and it was easy for both of us. I’m so glad we did, we had a late lunch but this didn’t affect the standard of the lunch. I went for something I usually don’t, but being so close to Christmas I wanted something on the healthy side so I went for the plaice and it was full of flavour and nice and delicate. My wife went for Steak, so a bit of a role reversal and she said it was cooked to perfection. I only had non-alcoholic beers so couldn’t say what their beer selection was like.
