1 /5 Christian Akabueze: I’m genuinely disappointed. I ordered jollof rice and a "full chicken", but what I got was half of a small chicken breast and half of a leg, both cut into random pieces. I love supporting Nigerian spots because I’m Nigerian myself, but I also believe in paying for value. The price wasn’t the problem, I’d happily pay more if the food matched what was promised. What really threw me off was the pricing. They have a lunch special that comes with two sides and rice for two pounds less than what I paid. Yet I got only rice and what they called a “full chicken,” which turned out to be the equivalent of one side of jerk chicken packed into the same small box. When I pointed out the issue, they acted like I was trying to be difficult and ended up forcing me into taking a refund. I never even got to eat the jollof rice I was looking forward to. The sad part is I only went there because the better-rated restaurant nearby was closed, and the barber next door recommended this place. I could’ve been a loyal customer if they’d just served what they advertised and treated me fairly. If you’re thinking of ordering from here, be careful. The food might look good on the menu, but the service and attitude don’t reflect the care or pride you’d expect from people representing Nigerian food. It felt like they just wanted to make their money for the day, not serve customers who actually care about good food. I hope they learn from this, not just as a bad review, but as a chance to do better, to deliver good food, what is advertised and treat customers with respect. I wasted my time today, and with their careless attitude it feels unlikely they’ll change, but I still hope they do.

4 /5 Geraldine Rapu: Went to Lit the other day. It first started off not well ask I have them a curtsey call to say I am running late and they tried to tell me that my reservation money will be taken and not given back and we will be a walk in, I just find this a bit ridiculous as one I called them to let them know and if you go to British establishments this is not the case but whatever so be it. When I got there it was not busy there was only 1 table in use. Food was really good, service was good and they didnt take my deposit which was great. I would recommend this restaurant and go again.
