5 /5 Sonia Ross: Where do I start? What a fantastic night we had at Maison last night. Such a beautiful old building with so much character. The food was spectacular-every course was delicious. Ben is such a talent in the kitchen and we enjoyed watching him prepare some of the dishes while having a glass of bubbles!! Lornette was a brilliant host; she is funny and entertaining and felt like an old friend by the end of the evening. We will definitely be back. Sonia, Graeme, Maddy & Oliver x

5 /5 Ben Spear: Absolutely incredible meal from a wonderful couple! We ate here on a Friday having booked the table as soon it became available online (v important if you want a seat!). From start to finish this was a wonderful experience. Every dish was impeccable. We sat at Bens table (the family dining table) and got to experience dinner with Ben as he put it together. Totally magical, cant recommend it enough ☺️

5 /5 Claire Cobb: We had a fantastic evening at Maison Restaurant on Saturday - a Christmas gift from our children. On our arrival at the 15th Century building, Wrecclesham House, we were warmly greeted by our hosts Lornette and Ben. We mingled with other diners while enjoying a glass of complimentary fizz. The refurbishment of the building is sympathetically done, blending old with modern. This is evident in the private dining room which is tastefully decorated to create an informal atmosphere. Ben is a culinary genius, preparing dishes using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Each of the tasting menu dishes was an explosion of the tastebuds; the bread course was outstanding and deserved to be a dish in its own right. Lornette and Ben introduced each of the dishes as they were brought to the table, this was even more exciting as the menu is not available to see in advance. There is a comprehensive wine list and an excellent variety of non alcoholic beverages including mocktails. I would not hesitate in recommending Maison as an amazing gastronomic experience.

5 /5 Phil Moss: An extraordinary experience. There is no menu which is exciting and intriguing at the same time. The food is what the chef Ben feels like cooking on the day and wow did he deliver !! The guide says eight ish courses and we had nine.....I think ! Each round was different, well presented and absolutely gorgeous. We arrived at 6.30 to a welcome reception with bubbles and wine. I am doing dry January (foolish I know) so had the alcohol free sparkling wine which was pretty damn good. Im not going to list each course as one, I cant recall all the details so fear being wrong and two, it wont reflect what you might have when you go because each night is different. I have posted photos so you can see what we had but take it from me, each course is superb. If I had to choose one, I couldnt. If you havent been and you love food, just go and you will not be disappointed.

Ive never had an experience like it, such an amazing menu and we felt like we got to know Ben and Lornette as we sat at the Chefs table - theyre as impressive as the food, maybe less impressive than the marmite butter, nothing will top that! Thanks guys, we cant wait to go again. X
