5 /5 Patrick Fuller: Went to Mr Bao with a large group for a birthday and the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, especially considering how big our table was. Everything ran smoothly and we never felt rushed. The pork belly and brisket baos were absolutely next level, but special shoutout to the sticky BBQ corn ribs and the handmade dumplings which were unreal. The flavoured sake is also a must. So good. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.

The ambiance is very Peckham cool, the service is always friendly and the food is most delicious. The umami flavours are epic. And the Specials. And the cocktails..And the fluffiness of the bao buns…And you need to book to avoid disappointment…And I could go on forever.

5 /5 Annabel Mack: We had all this food and drinks and we’re in an out in an hour. Can’t recommend this place enough. Every single item was beyond delicious, but personal fav has to be the mushroom bao. Very reasonable pricing: we ordered slightly more than recommended and both had a cocktail and dessert and we paid £40 each including service. Easy on public transport. Lovely lovely staff, and they popped a candle on my dessert for my bday. Already planning my next trip back

5 /5 Sasha F: Always a delight! The prawn and tamarind bao specials are incredible. I also had the special cocktail, the Szchuan Spritz - one of the best cocktails Ive had in a while! Ask for a taster of the cocktails to help you decide which one to get!

5 /5 Adam Tengku: Wonderful place, I came here for an anniversary for the first time, and was not disappointed. Delicious food, lovely atmosphere and fantastic service. Our waitress was Jess, who I have to give a special shoutout to for her incredibly warm and friendly service which made our night even more special. (Her colleagues were also lovely). Everything was top-notch, what else could you want?
