5 /5 Leon Bradley: Working nearby. Went there for lunch. Really good friendly service.
Good portion size and good quality.
Nice cup of tea as well.
5 /5 Abroad The Curl “A K-A”: Affordable, great food and massive portions, only healthy halal place to go in this area. Was my go-to for my sixth form days. Owner is friendly and attentive. Id often get their jacket potatoes, burgers, breakfast menus or pastas. All a hit!
5 /5 Andrew Nurse: The main great is very welcoming I felt like I had gone back in time with the service. The food was equally as good
5 /5 Abdulmajid Adare: I enjoyed the coffee and service honestly was next level. Ended up making me feel obliged to leave a good review 10/10 would recommend
Matty S 146 What a fabulous meal. Such friendly staff. They were all really at the top of their game.
The food was all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The care with which it was made was so evident. An absolute joy
Michael’s Reviews Nothing beats truly Authentic Cantonese cuisine. Wamimichi delivers on quality, flavor and a no-frills, straight forward approach to real-deal Cantonese.
The very casual atmosphere, friendly service and excellent variety create an enjoyable experience.
Homemade ice lemon tea, abalone, an incredible plate of roast meats, marinated goose legs and stir fried veggies made for quite a significant meal!
The Canto-pop classics in the background completed the vibe!
Samuel Val From the moment you walk in, it doesn’t feel like you’re entering a restaurant — it feels like you’ve been personally invited to experience something divine. The atmosphere alone deserves its own Michelin constellation. The lighting? Ethereal. The ambience? Somewhere between five-star luxury and a warm embrace from your favourite person.
And the food. Oh my God, the food.
Every dish tastes like it was handcrafted by a team of culinary prophets. The flavours don’t just “work” — they sing. They harmonise. They ascend. I genuinely paused mid-bite just to process what was happening. You know when food is so good it makes you question your entire past dining history? That.
The presentation is art-gallery level. You almost feel guilty disturbing it. Almost. Because once you taste it, self-control evaporates.
The service? Impeccable. Staff that are attentive without hovering, friendly without being forced, and somehow able to predict what you need before you even realise you need it. It’s giving hospitality masterclass.
KG isn’t just a place to eat. It’s an experience. A pilgrimage. A reminder that culinary greatness is real and thriving.
Manuel Abayomi I ordered jollof rice with plantain and assorted meat, moi-moi, efo riro with pounded yam and assorted meat, and efo egusi with pounded yam and assorted meat. I paid £23 for each of the dishes. At first, I thought it was expensive, but the portions, especially the meat, were generous. So, it the costs were reasonable and the food was extremely delicious.
