Yasmin I came here for my works annual Christmas meal and the service was excellent. We had a big group but the team managed it like pros. The portions are surprisingly large for the price and location, we had a lot of leftovers taken home. The free bread offered before the meals was an obvious favourite and makes you feel like you’re being taken care of well! I had the falafel pilaf and the rice was heavenly! I’d love to get my hands on the recipe, it was the more silkiest and tender rice I’ve had!

Dushan Waran Amazing service! We visited during a busy time with family and friends, and we were truly impressed. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and well taken care of. The food was top notch as well as everything was delicious. Highly recommend!

Jeremy Irwin A bit rough and ready but easily my favourite Ethiopian place in London. Have been going for 6+ years since I moved to London. Still trek here for dinner even though I no longer live round the corner. Wonderful owners. Flavours, portions and quality are always consistently great.

Andy Howard When you walk in and you’re greeted with a warm and welcoming smile from one of the owners (Claire) who seats you in a perfect spot right next to the kitchen where the co owner & Italian Chef (Val) slaves away making every meal to order using only the freshest ingredients you know you’ve found ‘your place’. Unable to choose what to eat we ask Val to keep us fed and watered and between the two we weren’t let down. We told Claire what our wine tastes were and she brought the most Devine wine! Val then made us a starter, a main and a main, and a main… AND a desert!! Wow wow wow!! (Have the crab pasta!!) Our first night at Alberto’s made us feel welcomed, wanted and part of the team! Did you know Val is also a jeweller?! Does this man’s skills have any boundries?! If only we’d come earlier we could have visited their veg shop just up the street “Plant’d” we will be back!! K&A

Amy I came here for an early 30th birthday celebration. The staff here are absolutely amazing Debbie, Lete, Nana, Juilette, Angie, ivory. Rosie and Stan These women are absolutely amazing and they are an asset to your restaurant. They showed nothing but professionalism and care and they genuinely are beautiful people inside and out. It was an amazing start to my birthday celebrations thank you ladies.

Katharine Sweeney Its been years since my last visit to Sofias Columbian Kitchen but lll not leave it so long again! The new venue didnt affect Sofias warm welcome and the homely feeling that she managed to bring with her. The food was all delicious and plentiful, the atmosphere was great and the service was perfect. We were a group of 6 friends so could have easily kept to ourselves but still ended up making friends with the 2 couples also on our table. 100% recommend for delicious food and a fabulous night out.
