5 /5 Helga Leith: The bavette arrived already sliced, each piece blushing perfectly at the centre — the kind of pink that takes confidence to serve. The chimichurri was generous, verdant, unashamed. Chips in a bowl, because some things shouldn’t be fussed with. A glass of something dark in the background, holding its position like a good supporting character should. Chelsea casual. Quietly correct. The pub is lucky to have a chef de partie who notices how a plate looks as well as how it cooks.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

5 /5 Djamiel Lowhar-Malcolm: Booked a table for seven people at 1:30 pm on Saturday. Very very busy with birthdays and young families and friends catching up but the food that was served was absolutely delicious, a cut above pub food with it quality and inventiveness. Each dish was well received. Service was very polite and helpful and friendly, even though it was as busy as I have ever seen. Tip would be to order your Dessert at the same time as you order your starters mains and sides.

5 /5 Steve Duns: So, we just stumbled across the Princess of Wales as we were walking along the canal bank, and as it would have been rude not to stop for a swift half. Glad we did, they have a good choose of beers, and a great menu. We had a lovely lunch, salmon pate, and lamb curry pie. Very very tasty. The staff were friendly helpful, understanding, patient whith some other people who were on holiday, and English was clearly not a first language. Thankyou for a great visit
