J Kirkham Booked an overnight stay with the Ivy due to meetings in the area. Brilliant stay from start to finish. Staff were superb - I didn’t arrive until around 8ish in the evening. Room was spotless and comfortable bed and slept very well. Staff were super friendly, welcoming and very helpful and attentive. The food was superb I had dinner and breakfast with them on my arrival. The fish pie was excellent quality. Great stay from start to finish Would very happily stay again! 10/10

Steve Banks I’ve visited The Feathers twice this week and each time the service and the food was excellent. I’m new to the area so it’s the first time my family and I have been to the pub and each time we received a warm welcome from the bar staff and even the chef was there to say hello. My wife wanted a salad that wasn’t showing on the menu, but the chef didn’t hesitate to offer her a range of different options. She went for the avocado and prawns, it was absolutely lovely and I had the homemade burger that was outstanding. The pub is well looked after and tastefully furnished and the garden and flowers are a great addition to the characterful pub. Well done and keep up the great work. Steve

Nicola Pollock I have eaten several here several times recently, so I really wanted to leave a review to help spread the word about their amazing food, service and atmosphere. The staff, always friendly and helpful make the overall experience even more enjoyable. The food is of the highest quality and never fails to impress us, even when under pressure, no corners were cut (eg. over the festive season perhaps!) The presentation, flavour and quality always remains high. No corners were cut at all even when under pressure. Highly recommended.

bud banyard Had a beautiful meal tonight celebrating a birthday with my daughter and son-in-law, The food was absolute perfection, Well presented, The starters were beautiful and mains were beautiful too, The service was fantastic. We were served by.Stefanos , He was so lovely, Very polite, friendly, and professional, thanks to Stefanos and a great chef we had a perfect night to remember. We will definitely be eating here again and recommending this to friends and family.

David Billings We were kindly gifted this experience. Finding it was easy but the taxi driver drove straight past and we had to tell him to turn around. Its magical walking up into the area trees on each side. Its very natural ans rustic and charming. Small details all around add to the atmosphere. We had 3 complementary gin and tonics each! And got a bit merry. And the canapes were yummy..we stood in the right place as was offered loads and even had to resuse in the end as would have been full. Tables were beautifully decorated. And separated around the area. We had hoped to sit under the main tent but was directed to our allocated table with others. There are games dotted around to interact with if you want. We met a lovely couple and had a great evening. Some on our table did not interact as much but everyones experience is different I guess. The place became alive when it became darker with twinkly lights everywhere. Even the toilet was full of candles and lights. If you want to buy any more drinks they are expensive just be preparred. The food was good serves on wooden plates, and wooden cutlery, and more of a shared style of passing the food around the table. The evening was followed by marshmallow toasting and tea which we missed as was enjoying the prosecco too much. Think we were the last ones to leave...had so much fun with pictures on the giant deckchair at the end. Luckily we had fantastic weather but can imagine a very different experience if raining.
