4 /5 J J: Pizza was full of flavour, but the ambience of the venue was amazing. However, it did take longer than normal to serve my order. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience and will visit again. It would be good if the restaurant would make available garlic oil and hotter chilli oil in the future.

5 /5 REG: Interesting toilet situation at SALT Deptford. The toilets, once I imagine not unisex, now are. This didnt impact on their functionality though. They seemed to work fine. The pint I had here was quite nice also, they had a range of other drinks available and also pizza. Ive had a pizza here in the past and although it hasnt stuck in my mind as a glowing example (see D4100, Crisp W6) it wasnt particularly bad. Probably ok to good. Nicely done out interior here too.

5 /5 Bennick H: Very cool place for a drink and some food. Gets a decent amount of afternoon sun. Pizza’s are fantastic out of the wood fired oven (best Nocerella olives I’ve ever had too). Great range of Salt craft beers and a reasonable cocktail menu. Only downside is when it’s busy and there’s a few cocktail orders it can take a while to get served.

5 /5 for you Postcard (Postcardforyou.com): It’s one of the best pizza places we went outside of Italy. Dough of the pizza is exactly how it should be. They put plenty of veggies or meat on the pizza and added a lot of mozzarella too. Ingredients are very fresh and good quality. It’s really tasty. We brought our little fur friend with us. Dogs are more than welcome. The service is very friendly. We had a great chat with Karen and enjoyed the time here very much. Definitely a must try if you love pizza. You have tiniest at the bar. But there is a sign at the entrance that tells you that immediately. So no confusion here.

4 /5 Ngai Ning Yu - Fine Art Painter: I had pepperoni and the honey gave it a very nice sweet tang that complimented perfectly, it tasted more sweet than salty. However halfway through eating I realised it was incredibly burnt. I came with two friends and 2/3 pizzas were like this. I would still recommend this place, had great ambience and food was tasty but I’d flip it over to check before eating next time, truly the most burnt pizza I’ve probably had, but by the time I’d realised the extent of it, I was more than halfway through. Because from the front it’s not obvious. It’s nice that they do student discount though.

Hebah Aboud Great value for money, good portions and delicious food. Staff are always accommodating. The place is a little small and delivery is probably better unless youre in a small group. They have small mix boxes with noodles rice meat etc in one box which helps you if you cant decide what to get. Everything on the menu is delicious. Favourite dish here is the spicy wonton dumplings in broth. The fried rice is good too and so are the noodles. Honestly everything is really good. Locals love the place and its good value for money and is a gem in Deptford and one of the rare places nearby that hasnt been gentrified.
