4 /5 Nivesh Mangal: We visited this highly rated restaurant last weekend with expectations to try out the vegetarian/vegan dishes on their menu. Loved the black bean tacos and the dish with crispy sweet potatoes and smoked aubergine puree. The one with broccoli was okay, while the pasta felt very bland and a little undercooked to our liking. What was disappointing to note is the quantity which didnt justify the pricing of the dishes in the main course. One cant compare a protein-filled small-plate of non-veg to a plate of vegetarian salad without any protein in it, expecting a customer to pay the same or similar price.
The restaurant is located 7-8 mins from the nearby tube station and has a couple of parking spots if not too many. The seating is in a big hall as it was/is a cloth factory of sorts with machines for stitching etc. on display, so a minimalist kind of setting is what the expectation should be. The heating/insulation probably could be improved as well. The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way for us to understand what exactly would go in each of the vegetarian dishes before taking the order. Mainly, if they could focus on improving the quantity of each of the vegetarian dishes, ensure theyre served piping hot, that will certainly increase the quality aspect and a number of repeat customers.
