Emilia Visited on a Saturday afternoon, and as expected for a major motorway service area, the food court was extremely busy. ​The main issue appears to be staffing; the unit felt significantly understaffed for the volume of customers, leading to long queues and tired-looking, stressed employees. I ended up feeling too overwhelmed to wait and lecture tired staff about the order issues, which is frustrating. ​Speaking of issues, two things are consistent here: ​Missing items: Part of the order was missing (again). I need to remember to check everything before leaving, but it’s a recurring frustration. ​No Napkins: Takeaway orders consistently come without napkins. ​Also, the advertised Wi-Fi in this area was not working during my visit. ​On the positive side, despite the rush, I was able to easily find a clean table in the food court, which is a definite plus for a busy location. The food itself was the standard McDonalds fare. If you visit on a busy day, prepare for a wait and make sure you verify your order before you leave the counter.

Natalie Frances OK, OK, hear me out on this one. You will leave this place with a love /hate relationship. Lovely restaurant with staff on point. The food took 1 hour to arrive, as we were told it was being cooked from fresh. As compensation, we were offered fried meat, which, although it was tasty, came with clumps of fat that were not appealing at all. Upon arrival, the food was nice, fresh, and flavoursome. Intact is one of the nicest jollof rice Ive had in a long time. They also removed the drinks from the bill for the long wait. Waiter super attentive. He knew I was hot, so he put on air conditioning. When he saw me wrap my shawl around my shoulders, he immediately turned it off. I would go there again.

J Jeje DF N The food was delicious, freshly prepared, a lot of food had to take away main only had a bit of dessert. Really enjoyed starters, bread and butter, olives, salguadinhos, clams with two different sauces, cream and tomato, king prawns, chouriço and pickels variety. One better the the other spoiled for choices really nice. Main fish, potatoes and vegetables. Dessert pudim and bolacha cake. There was lovely red wine, still and sparling water, soft drinks. I had guarana and water. The price was reasoble. Its was a pre-booked dinner.

Nora McRitchie Friendly and attentive staff, not at all put off by my dietary needs (coeliac, gluten free), were more than happy to accommodate and some allergen labelling on the menu as well. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced with generous portions!

Hazel Jones Weve just had a really lovely midweek lunch at Piattini.. such a refreshing change to see a different menu. We chose the 6 plate Italian Tapas selection including the meatballs, goats cheese, tenderstem and we thoroughly enjoyed it.. especially the garlic and chilli seared prawn on sourdough which didnt last us long enough for a photograph it was so delicious! The staff were so friendly, welcoming and attentive. A brilliant place for a group of friends to meet for lunch, share a few plates and just enjoy this quiet corner of Guildford. We will definitely come back. There is even a private space for parties which looked great.
