Also, as it’s International Women’s day, he brought us both a lovely dessert each. Now stuffed and ready for bed!! Would definitely recommend. Thanks!

5 /5 Randy Baldwin: Katie looked after us perfectly. Food was excellent. Must say the background music was the best Ive ever heard in a pub at a perfect volume. An eclectic mix of blues, Christmas songs and to hear Cant Find my Way Home by Blind Faith topped the afternoon off. Well done Youngs

5 /5 SK: Superb roast, pork beats the beef, will try the chicken next. Lovely mackerel starter. Superb fish and chips, shame they ran out of malt vinegar but home’s close enough that we ran and grabbed some Sarsons to enjoy it with. And the best bit: no service charge!

5 /5 David Taylor: Visiting the area for the day. Glad we made a reservation as a really popular place! Front of House very attentive despite how busy they were and being a handful of staff down. Nice quieter section of the pub which was perfect for our needs. Sunday Roast was divine - portion size and taste was excellent. Everyone on duty 1st March was top drawer, even down to dealing with a drinks order error in the most professional way possible. Would definitely recommend. We will be back!!
