5 /5 Fi R: Wowzers, such delicious food! Popped in for lunch on a Monday and the place was gently buzzing. Lovely vibe, friendly service - and did I mention the amazing food! The flavour and texture combinations in the sabih (aubergines, tahini, mango amba, dak dak, pickles and zhoug in soft pitta) and the green falafel salad were just gorgeous. Will definitely be back!

The Good Egg has a great friendly service, it’s always buzzing, but it’s the sensational food that always has me coming back for more. The flavours are intense and bold. The umami created in the gentle kick and tang of the spices, sweetness from the honey or fruit chutneys, savoury flavours in the meat and salt all create a flavour explosion. The atmosphere is also always buzzing with families, groups of friends, young & old couples…I always come away with my taste buds satiated and happy!

5 /5 Alan Martin: Such a great place we visited twice. The tahini and halva brownie is one of the nicest Ive ever had - perfectly gooey with a beautiful flavour. The Babka French Toast is incredible to look at and tastes great, while the bacon and date pita is excellent for a more savoury brunch. My only regret is I didnt get to try the lamb shawarma hash (I saw one going to another table, and it looked great!).

Lorna Hardley Love a pie and mash From Lucys!!!! Just like being back in London. Large portion size, Hubby and I normally share a double pie and mash. Love the fact I can collect a cold portion and it comes with instructions to heat at home.

Chris Banham I popped in for a coffee as I heard it was pretty good in there. I wasnt disappointed, great coffee. I was then tempted by the cake menu and after chatting with staff I decided on Banana loaf, also great tasting and freshly made. What really made it a memorable experience was the 2 staff members on duty, both called George, they were both friendly, approachable and accommodating with a fantastic bit of wit and humour mixed in. Will certainly make a point of revisiting whenever Im in Margate.

Rachel Adams Brilliant evening! Food incredible and staff were friendly and welcoming. Wheelchair guests was able to get in with a little help from the ramp (board) staff put out for us, fully accessible toilet (double rails for both sides of toilet). Definitely recommend everything about the place! Cant wait to return!
