H A Absolutely lovely dinner. Authentic and traditional Indian food, went to celebrate my father’s birthday. The owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating. All the food was great, highly recommend the the three way chicken and naan was so soft. Would definitely come back again and affordable prices. Good value for money and we all left stuffed.

We tried Ameijoas a bilhao pato (clams in garlic and wine sauce), lulas frescas (grilled squid) and, peak of the dinner, Arroz de Marisco (lobster and seafood broth with rice). Everything was quite good, but the lobster and seafood rice broth was quite rich and delicious.

Doug W Being a visitor to Britain I was looking for a place to enjoy a breakfast more like those I can enjoy at home. Waffle Jacks met that wish. I enjoyed an omelet and even tried a 1/4 waffle. The proprietor was very welcoming and made my stay enjoyable. The food arrived promptly and was hot and delicious. The coffee was good too, but unlike an American diner (or a Canadian one, some I’m a Canuck) they don’t offer drip coffee. The restaurant is very small, but they make extraordinary use of their limited space and people seem to roll with it. The service was top notch, the food was good and the atmosphere was fun. The only negative I can offer is the small size of the establishment, but really they manage that well. I don’t throw out 5 stars everywhere, but when I do they’ve earned it. I went out of my way to visit here , a long way out of my way, and it was worth the effort.

WKbda I have been searching for great ramen since the unfortunate demise of Totto Ramen in NYC. Many futile attempts until tonight. Rich, deep, spicy flavourful broth in my Tantamen 2. Engaged and enthusiastic staff, especially late on Sunday night. Will definitely be back with the family. Absolutely fantastic evening.

Katerina Wojtowicz We had such a wonderful experience today, and a huge part of it was thanks to our amazing waitress, (G). From the moment we sat down, she made us feel so welcome. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely funny, which made the whole atmosphere even more enjoyable. Her service was absolutely outstanding — she was quick, professional, and always had a smile on her face. It’s rare to meet someone who clearly loves what they do and brings so much positive energy to their work. Ganina made our time here with the girls truly special. Because of her, our meal wasn’t just good — it was a memorable experience. Thank you, G, for your fantastic service and for making us feel so comfortable and well taken care of. You are an absolute star, and we hope the restaurant knows how lucky they are to have you!

Daryl CWK This branch really hits the spot. I had a lovely quick lunch with my sister. The lady who took my order was full of warmth and had a high care factor in what she was doing. I ordered the Fairfax and the Beef on the menu and both were delicious. The scrambled eggs were perfectly fluffy, and the egg in my beef was again, perfectly done - runny but not too runny. With 2 kids, she gave us some hashbrowns. Very thoughtful. Highly recommended.
