5 /5 Francis Harper: This is an outstanding little gem of a restaurant. Despite being rather busy, the atmosphere was so relaxed, quiet and inviting.
The food was outstanding, with great portion sizes. I had to ask how the chef had cooked the bacon because it was amazing.
The staff were first class. The young lady who served us was such a delight and attentive; she made us feel at home.
5 /5 maryann Mason: Me and my husband came here for breakfast on Sunday and it was the best breakfast we have ever had. We both had a full English and it tasted so fresh and not greasy, the eggs were so lovely and were told they were from a local company. Coffee and tea was also lovely, and the price was really good for the food you get. Staff were also lovely and friendly and welcoming. Would definitely return if we are in the area again.
5 /5 Keith Phillips: My son and I were in Chipping Norton for two nights, visiting Clarkson’s Farm and The Farmer’s Dog. We had 2 nights at the Bitter & Twisted, both nights were wonderful! The staff is perfect, the atmosphere is welcoming and the food is great! Can’t recommend this place enough.
5 /5 Franchesca Croft: A true little gem in Chipping Norton! After our travels we wanted some good pub grub and this pub didn’t disappoint. The staff were very friendly and accommodating considering we were dining quite late. It was very quiet there. The food was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend and visit again!
5 /5 Luke Browne: We stopped here for dinner one night while we were staying in the area. Friendly staff and a nice choice of menu options. The food was high quality and not anymore expensive than anywhere else.
Barry Dodman-Edwards We have just had Christmas dinner there. 2 courses which were really tasty and excellent value for money. In fact, it would be good value in this area if it were twice the price. The service was excellent and we didn’t feel crammed in. Well done everyone Barry - 3 Horseshoes Inn, Charlbury.
Gabbro1983 Very nice restaurant. Small, quiet. Got booked in and sat down quick (it was quite empty when I went). Food came out pretty rapid. Id recommend the topped chips upgrade. Very happy with the meal.
Darren Metters The pizzas from Fire and Wine are made to order (you book an oven slot) and are absolutely fantastic!! The pizza base was cooked perfectly and the toppings were tasty and fresh. We will definitely be going again when we return to the Cotswolds next year.
R D Contracting Great family run restaurant.
Very busy, we were lucky to get a table.
Flavours were lovely, and the manager gave very accurate descriptions of the various dishes.
Good value for money, would come back again.
