Amy F Been to Blackboard twice now and really enjoyed it. I like the small, seasonal menu concept - it adds to the cosy vibe, like youre being invited come round to my place, this is what Im making. And as vegetarian, I can vouch that those options have been lovely and flavourful! The cocktails and wine are great, too. Highly recommended.

Sheena King When I got to the venue, I was greeted by several friendly and helpful security staff, which made me feel like my visit would go smoothly. In the dining area, I found plenty of seating options and chose a more comfortable spot. At first, I felt a little awkward with the staff, but one of them was very helpful with my sister and friends orders. As my sister and I were about to leave, we were asked about our bills, which was a bit embarrassing for me. This indicated a communication problem among the staff since they should have known the payment was already taken care of. Overall, the food was good; I really enjoyed the pepper sauce, which added flavor without being too spicy. The halloumi wrap was nice as well—simple but delicious. By the end of the meal, I was happily full and look forward to trying the prawns next time.

The service is always excellent- warm, knowledgeable and welcoming staff who are happy to guide you through anything thats new on the menu. The food has always been exceptional and feels as though it has been prepared with real passion and care. I have enjoyed sweet and sharp ceviche, rich pigeon with butternut squash, chargrilled romanesco, which was was a surprise and a complete delight, not to mention their famous beetroot manti (Turkish dumplings); tiny, soft and sweet parcels, like the best tortellini youve ever had. What an asset to Camberwell, long may it last!

Najiba Kasdi Great breakfast at the Brasserie Lumiere. Fresh ingredients and good coffee blend. The girl at the till was very helpful and charming. I will definitely come back.
