5 /5 Nesh Sassano: Wow! There was 14 of us booked for the festive menu yesterday, we had the best time. Food was absolutely delicious all served quickly and on time. The table was set out lovely & kids received a selection box at the end of the meal. Thank you to all the team, we had a really lovely time! The service was so efficient, we felt really looked after. Highly recommend!

3 /5 Sarah T: I booked a table for 11 (7 adults and 4 children). 9.30pm the night before, I received a phone call stating we needed a pre-order, that they dont normally take bookings for 11 without a deposit or pre-order. I asked where to send the pre-order and they asked for me to call back within the hour. I said it was a bit late for me to do that, so they agreed I could do it in the morning. I did find an email address and did manage to email it over later that same night. I called at 12pm to confirm they had my email, I was then told some of the choices were festive options, so needed to be changed. (The website didnt show these as festive only options) When we arrived they only had one of the cheesecakes, so someone had to change their dessert. Which was frustrating after making us do a pre-order. The lady said it was for the mains they needed the pre-order. I dont really think that is an acceptable answer. The same lady then insisted we collect all the plates up for her, then she nearly hit my mum in the face with the plates when picking them up. At this point I wondered how much of her job we were doing ! The positives were we had a nice area and the food was nice, but I really didnt think the staff were all that switched on.

4 /5 Laura I: Free pub parking which is good, we went in for food around 2pm, plenty of tables to sit at as not too busy. The food took quite a while to get to us after being ordered but when it did arrive it was piping hot and really tasty (we all had the cod and chips) The atmosphere of the pub is nice, could do with a little more heat as we were quite cold.

1 /5 Stuart Francis: We had precooked christmas eve festive fayre meal, 2 adults 2 children. We sat and waited half hour before being asked if we had requested food, we presumed as reordered they would just start to serve. Crackers then got put infront of us which surely should have already been placed on the table ready for us. 20mins later starter arrived. 1 hour later main arrives, raw carrots and parsnip, roast potatoes were forgot so brought out in bowl separate for the roasts. My sons steak chewy. When finished plates left in front of us 20mins+ before being collected to then have 1 plate left, I did say its very slow service and the reply was its a busy time, there were many tables empty and majority who were there were just having a drink so not many with food. We then had dessert served which the plate was still there from the meal as wasnt collected so had to pass back whilst the dessert was being put down. The christmas puddings had all ran out even though it was pre ordered so an alternative. The food was nothing like we have had there before and service poor. We have been there many years and very happy but will not be returning after this experience.

5 /5 Benedict Robinson: Brilliant front of house staff who always greet customers with a smile. Food was excellent despite the wait - it seems theyre a little short staffed at the moment but the team working when I visited went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after. Special mention for Diesel, one of the friendliest bar people Ive had the pleasure of being served by.
