Karen Morris We recently used Eat & Thrive for our training event, and they exceeded all expectations. The food was exceptional—fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the quality and variety of dishes. Dawn and her team made everything seamless. They were responsive, flexible with last-minute changes, and made the entire process stress-free. I highly recommend Eat & Thrive for anyone looking for top-tier catering with a local touch. We’ll definitely be using them again!

Ashleigh I was invited down to try Itto but will definitely be making it a regular thing because the food, service and relaxed atmosphere on a Friday night really impressed me! They have a fully vegan section of the menu which was perfect for me and my friend really loved the meat dim sum he had in particular. My favourite was the smashed cucumber and schezuan tofu and aubergine. It would be the perfect spot for a chill date night! ☺️

P R Lived up to the Vittles hype for me. Really loved the food - particular standouts were the lamb ribs, the milk bread with mushrooms, and the meringue desert (maybe the best desert I’ve ever eaten). We sat at the counter which I highly recommend if you are in a pair. You can see the open kitchen and also see one of the chefs plating snacks and deserts in front of you on the counter. The service was really good - didn’t catch his name but shoutout to the Australian guy with long hair!! He gave us great recs on food and drink. I’m not big into wine but the cocktails were delicious and I had the most lovely Japanese tea at the end. Overall we had such a lovely dinner here and I couldn’t recommend enough. Came to about £100pp which we thought was very fair given how good the food was and we had a couple of drinks (and a tea and coffee) each - and left stuffed

Tom Popped into this place last Friday (early march) and had no booking. It was bus but managed to get a seat at the bar. I had toast with pate to start and a vegetarian main. Think it was sweet potato with pecorino over the top. Something like that. Both dishes were delicious and left me wanting more so I ordered tiramisu for dessert. Equally yummy. The foods clearly great here but what I liked most was the atmosphere and the vibe. It’s dimly lit and still vibrant. Noisy but in a good way. Staff are vigilant and quick. Wine was also good! I loved my meal here and I’m 100% going to go back. Probably more than once.

Gordon Bennett This place is a gem for Plaistow, the prices are decent, the quality is excellent and the taste is original thin base. The guys running the place are asian that lived in Italy prior to moving here. So its proper!

Catherine Hains Nice atmosphere, food was delicious, the 8 of us could talk comfortably. Staff were really friendly and helpful and I had a nice surprise with my dessert, it was just a lovely little touch.
