Chaskaas - (Near Tower Hamlets, South East)

5 /5 Sadek Ali: I was recommended this place for dinner after my friends went there previously so I thought I’d give it a try. If I’m not mistaken it is a family run Pakistani Cuisine restaurant that offers both takeaway and dine in options. It’s not a massive restaurant but there is plenty of space for large groups but definitely book a table in advance. There is a large variety available on the menu with emphasis on grilled foods. We went for the 3-4 people Mixed Tawa for 3 people and we had to take some home because of the quantity. The food is made to order so you will have to wait a bit for it to come out so getting there on time and ordering sooner rather than later is advised as like I said previously it is a family run business. But what I will say is the wait is worth it. I’ve had a lot of mixed grills in my time and their take on spices and flavours is unique to the traditional mixed grills you get around London. The meats are very tender and juicy and enthused with the oils and spices in the tawa. I will say it is a bit greasy just because it is on a tawa but this absorbed into the naan adds a lot of depth and doesn’t end up being too heavy. Overall the food is very good and it’s a spot I would return back to on a regular basis. I would give it a try if you’re in the area or looking for something new.

5 /5 Al Hattam Syd (Syd Foodie Lover): If you want authentic Pakistani this is place to go, I enjoyed a Chappley kebab, Lamb Sag which was delicious, apart from curries they also do grilled foods,The Halwa was very buttery but not too sweet . The interior is very nice and clean and staff friendly and helpful

5 /5 Anees Sattar: A truly homely Pakistani restaurant with food lovingly cooked by their mum. Every dish tastes like proper home cooking — full of flavour, comforting, and made with care. You can really feel the warmth and authenticity in the food. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the brothers at the front are friendly and polite, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. It’s a genuine family-run place with heart, and it shows in both the food and the service. Highly recommended for authentic, home-style Pakistani food. Coming back soon!

5 /5 Abdul Alim: First time I went to this restaurant group of 9 for iftar gathering. we had pakora, chapli kebab, chicken korahi, lamb korahi, Nan & the Chaskaa’s tawa all of us enjoyed the meal it was full of flavour well spice & tasty. Highlight of the meal was the Chaskaa’s tawa comes with grill whole chicken, lamb kebab, chicken kebab, lamb chops, chicken tikka, Malai Boti kebab, peri chips, nan, chicken & lamb biryani all the item complimented nicely well presented taste is awesome much more flavour than Turkish platter all meat was nice , tender , succulent nice medium spice definitely recommend people to try this restaurant.
