England’s Rose Pub and Bed & Breakfast - (Near Oxfordshire, South East)

4 /5 Damian Hawrylko: Stopped by this charming pub on my way home for a quick bite. While the meal wasn’t the best I’ve had, the service truly stood out, both friendly and attentive throughout. The decor is warm and inviting and the pub is situated in a lovely area. Overall, a pleasant spot worth visiting for the atmosphere.

5 /5 Ciara: Sheila the landlady was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond during our stay. The room was very clean and had everything we needed including tea/coffee facilities and its own bathroom and shower. There was a TV for a bit of wind down. Lots of parking and a stunning large garden at the back. There was a separate entrance so we could come back easily after being out for the evening. Cleaning service included while we were out for the day too. Could have asked for more. We stayed in the triple room, perfect for a ladies weekend away and very close to the spa we had booked to visit. Short drive to the park and ride into Oxford which was very convenient too. Great value stay and super attentive host. Highly recommend. Thanks Sheila

5 /5 Sonia Burgess: My partner and myself went for a country drive and came across this beautiful country Inn. We were welcomed by the lovely Sheila ( landlady) who made us feel so welcome and sat us by the open fire which made us both fell cozy and relaxed. We were both told that for January the roasts had been reduced from £18.95 to £10 ( again the food was that amazing we would have paid the full price). The pub has a beautiful conservatory, a huge garden that also accommodates children and the dining lounge has just been renovated and has two fires and is again cozy and warm. The food was excellent and had a variety of vegetables l, the turkey was cooked to perfection and overall the whole experience was fantastic. 10/10 highly recommend

5 /5 Gillian Quek: Had a post party breakfast with friends and had the joy of meeting Shiela and her team. Truly wonderful, warm and welcoming people - many struggling pubs in the UK could learn from these wonderful characters!

5 /5 Dag Skaseth: Passed by on the way to Heathrow and stopped for a "Sunday roast". Incredible food and two very nice ladies running it. Highly recommend a visit. Greetings from Norway.
