The staff (Andrea, Nick and Seren) are always friendly, which creates a lovely ambience. Chrissy the barista is especially welcoming and makes a great coffee! X

5 /5 Cemma West: I had a fantastic experience at Firedog. I visited this evening, and the mood was great—lively without being overwhelming, with a really good buzz in the room. The food really stood out, especially the lamb neck croquette, which was rich, perfectly crisp on the outside, and full of deep flavour. The prawn roll was equally impressive—fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully balanced. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the ingredients and the execution. A great spot for high-quality food with real attention to detail. I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu.

5 /5 Nicholas Charles: Lovely casual cafe/restaurant and our favourite place for brunch. Ive been going every Saturday with my family for over a year. The food is always on point. The coffee served by world class barrister Chriss is excellent and the staff are amazing, friendly and welcoming. Special mention to Andrea and Seren who always brighten my day with their beaming smiles. If you want to get some sunshine in your day during these gloomy months then visit Firedog - you wont be let down.

5 /5 Isabelle: Nick provided amazing service. The specials were incredible. The prawn roll with chilli jam was especially delicious, and the bone marrow crème brûlée was very creative. Amazing service by other staff members as well. Calm atmosphere, relaxing lighting and quiet music. A wonderful experience. 10/10
