Friends Cafe and restaurant - (Near Oxfordshire, South East)

5 /5 Chaz Nezha: A lovely Arabic café in one a historical corner. The setting is nice with outdoor seating perfect for relaxing after hours of shopping, people watching, and enjoying the atmosphere. They also have two indoor areas, one cozy and family friendly, and another with a younger vibe. I was told they’re even working on getting their shisha licence soon. The food is amazing. I tried the shawarma sandwich, falafel, tabouli and one of their salads — all fresh and full of flavour. The highlight was their house-made garlic sauce with no eggs… truly to die for. Some people literally stop by just to buy it! I loved it so much I came back again later for another shawarma sandwich to take with me on my train back to London. A great spot for delicious Middle Eastern food, music, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended.

5 /5 Determined 68: It’s been many years since i’ve been to this place. Decided to go to Oxford city to enjoy some of the ambience go to one of the pubs which had an old shanty singing going on in the background then was going to the undercover market for some food but they themselves were shutting up Didn’t fancy McDonald’s or KFC but wanted something else and happened to go past this place found them very welcoming approachable, pleasant and attentive. A latte with a chicken Samosa were excellent then I had a chicken shawarma with a lightly dressed olive salad and fries that was crisp tasty and fragrant. I then had some Blaclava Which is one of their traditional dessert, That was excellent. Overall the four hours to five hours I spent in Oxford city was the first time since 2017. I found it very enjoyable and a memory worth sharing.

5 /5 Aubrey Richardson: I loved this place. This is what I always hope a Lebanese/middle eastern restaurant turns out to be (and it usually isn’t) so fresh and delicious. Amazing value. Super kind service, they even made us 2 dishes not on the menu. Only regret is not living in the country. I’ll be back!
