5 /5 rebekahk52: We came for the afternoon bottomless brunch, which really lived up to its name with glasses refilled as soon as they were half empty. The staff were really attentive and there’s a live singer and dancers, such a great atmosphere and lovely food. We had the best time.

5 /5 Aush: A fab dining experience with delicious Japanese cuisine. We came here on a Friday night, nice intimate ambience. The manager and all restaurant staff serving us were amazing- polite and attentive. Food had great flavours, and everything from steamed dim sum to chicken yakatori to sushi were well presented and tasty. The scallop dish was amazing, we loved it! Cocktails were fine dining level and beautifully presented and made to perfection. So refreshing to have a local restaurant with this vibe. Thanks, we certainly will be back!

Having eaten in very good sushi restaurant before, we didn’t quite know what to expect, but I can assure you that it will surpass your expectations. A double bonus was the cocktails were absolutely amazing, I strongly recommend their twist on an old fashioned if that’s your tipple.

5 /5 Santa Claus: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fumiko Hornchurch and I must say, the culinary experience was truly delightful. The menu features a fantastic selection of dishes that are both creative and flavorful. The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable. They were quick to accommodate our requests and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. However, I did notice a persistent mold smell in the restaurant that detracted from an otherwise wonderful experience. It’s unfortunate, as the food and service were top-notch. I believe that addressing this issue would significantly enhance the overall atmosphere and make it even more inviting for guests. I genuinely hope that Fumiko can resolve this concern, as I would love to return and enjoy the fantastic food

5 /5 Iryl: If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! I booked Fumiko for a Hen Do Dinner for my sister-in-law. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive due to the price, but the aesthetic of the place convinced me to go ahead—and I’m so glad I did. When we arrived, we were greeted and seated immediately by our servers, who were attentive and friendly throughout the night. The restaurant itself is stunning—truly Instagram-worthy! We arrived during happy hour, and the drinks were not only beautifully presented but also delicious. I had the Yuzu Spritzer and the Passionfruit Sunset—both were fantastic. The food completely exceeded our expectations. Every single dish we ordered was packed with flavor; nothing disappointed. The Salt & Chilli Calamari, Flame-Kissed Scallop, and Truffle Rib-Eye Beef were all outstanding, rich in taste and perfectly executed. Every bite was a delight. Even the Miso Ice Cream, which initially sounded unusual, was surprisingly delicious. A huge thank you to Ellie, Galina, and Kelly for making our night extra special with their warm smiles and excellent service. And to the chefs, Imran and Syful, thank you for the unforgettable, flavor-packed dishes. Fumiko is truly a top-quality restaurant in Hornchurch, and it’s worth every penny. We will definitely be back for more!
