5 /5 Haemi Audrey Chang: Went for lunch with a couple of friends and had a great experience. We ordered a couple of set menus, which came with smaller portions of four different dishes—perfect for sharing! We also had Pad Thai and Beef Soup to share among the group. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes on the set menus were just right—not too much, not too little. Great variety and balance. The atmosphere was lovely, with pretty decor and a relaxed vibe. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly dedicated. A nice little bonus: they even have insulated takeaway bags, which is such a cute touch! Definitely recommending this place to friends.

5 /5 Pub Reviewer-UK: I love the food in a Giggling Squid, hence why we came here, I’ve never been to the Wimbledon one despite it being close to our folks. I would definitely go there again. I shared a selection of starters with my wife and in-laws, all were very good and extremely tasty. For main I had the Melt Beef, as recommended by the server, this was brilliant, full of flavour and perfectly cooked as I have come to love about this chain. They had an amazing beer on selection called the Mad Squirrel which I think was unique to this branch which I really enjoyed and I didn’t think it was too expensive either. The service was a little lacking to begin with, we waited quite a long time for our drinks, but they got better throughout the experience. I wouldn’t say it was so bad it ruined our experience and I would be happy to come back. The decor is just beautiful and makes you feel very light and relaxed, you’ll understand if you go.

3 /5 Scott Channon: WEIRD service. Ordered a dish with ‘2 chillis’ spice level on the menu and the person serving said I could NOT handle it and not in a silly and fun way. When I said it was fine, she brought out my food and told me she had asked the chef to take the chillis off? I did not ask for her to do that. How strange. Food was epic and delicious as always in everything giggling squid.

3 /5 Sarah: We were at Giggling Squid as an early birthday celebration for my husband while my daughter was home from uni. The food was great as usual. I am not sure if it was because it was a Sunday but the service was not up to standard. I had to get up to go ask for someone to come serve us, as we were left without anyone coming to offer us drinks, at which point we were ready to order drinks and food. My daughter and I had to get up again at separate times to ask for drinks during the meal. I had also mentioned that it was my husbands birthday and the host said they would sort something out for us but that was completely forgotten. The service put a damper on what was supposed to be a celebration meal. Disappointing.
