5 /5 millie halsall: myself and my partner were looking for somewhere to dine before heading over to the theatre and we are SO glad we decided on this restaurant! we were seen to as soon as we entered and were quickly seated. the staff were incredibly attentive and checked back quite often. there’s the option of table service from staff or the use of self-service tablets on the table which we loved it as it meant we got to see photos of the food and what to expect. there was even a little comments button so you can remove certain items from your meal if you wish (definitely useful for me removing the chillies from the katsu). there are also physical menus that you’re given on arrival which was great too! the food came out quick, hot and so well presented! it is honestly some of the best food we’ve had on any of our dates - i definitely recommend the thai duck stir fry and the japanese katsu. portion sizes were very good, we’re already planning our next visit!

3 /5 LCD: Enjoying a meal with a view can truly elevate the dining experience. This establishment offers a lovely vantage point of the city skyline, especially when seated outdoors. The cuisine, while not extraordinary, was perfectly acceptable and satisfying. Similarly, the service provided was adequate and met expectations. Overall, its a pleasant spot for a casual meal with a pleasant backdrop.

3 /5 Body Manda: A solid choice for a casual meal in London. The food at Giraffe was very delicious, with fresh flavors and generous portions that really satisfied. However, the atmosphere was let down by the uncomfortably cold temperature inside—almost as chilly as outdoors, likely due to drafty windows and insufficient heating, which made it hard to fully relax. Service was friendly enough, but overall, it’s a mixed experience. Worth a try if you’re nearby and hungry, but dress warmly!

5 /5 Magdalena Borowska: We came to Giraffe in Southbank to celebrate my teammate’s last day, and it was such a lovely experience. We started ordering drinks through the table pad, but when we wanted some food recommendations, the manager Ilona came over and was incredibly helpful. She suggested the Korean BBQ chicken, and it was absolutely delicious! Later, she also recommended some desserts, and they were so yummy. Ilona was really attentive throughout the evening, checking if we enjoyed the food and asking if we’d like more drinks. Great service, tasty food, and a nice atmosphere. We had a great time!
