5 /5 Sam Plumb: This place has only been open a little while and we’ve already been half a dozen times. Definitely our favourite Chinese restaurant in Oxford. The food is top quality and very affordable. Love it!
5 /5 EJ D: Don’t be put off by the aesthetics, this is easily one of the best Chinese restaurants in Oxfordshire. Would recommend the duck, sweet and sour pork, aubergine, cabbage, and prawn dishes. Seriously good value, operated by a lovely couple!
5 /5 Svea: It’s literally the best authentic Chinese food in town! You’ll never regret trying new dishes, they will surprise you with amazing dishes!
Especially during the cold weather, they will welcome you with a warm soup that warm you up!
4 /5 Stefani W: We went there for late dinner so it was already quiet.
The restaurant was spacious, organised and clean.
The service was good and fast. The staff were helpful and friendly.
We ordered pork, capital duck and blackbean beef.
They were nice, but imho the blackbean dish was just ok, I hope they can improve it. We will visit again
4 /5 mikkimoto27: Good food, fairly priced in my opinion (please be aware they charge more online)! Was a bit of a wait but not complaining for the quality you get. Nice quiet and clean atmosphere. Went during a Monday at lunchtime.
Neil Madhvani A superb plant-based cafe with delicious savoury and sweet dishes. We highly recommend the Bagel Baby with tater tots and the blueberry and lemon pancakes. Super fluffy! Very impressed and the portions are so generous - glad we shared a few dishes.
Matteo S. A piece of Italy in Oxford. I had trofie with pesto and focaccia bread, and they were fantastic. I’m Italian, and for me this is a real Italian restaurant!
stefan rogers Every time I go in here it gets better and better then fried dumplings are cooked perfectly. I always have the brown stew chicken which is amazing. Last time I had the curried goat and it was so flavoursome ill definitely be having that again. Quite alot on the menu so enjoy and tuck in.
Callum Smart Busy Saturday night walk in - we were able to be sat outside and the heaters turned on for us.
All the staff were very kind, attentive and warm. Some very warming Turkish teas were brought for us at the end complimentary.
Great stop in Oxford right next to the O2 we were heading to.
Gorgeously Wise We visited the Red Star last day for hotpot. It was delicious and unlimited, we had full tummies by the end. Tessa and other servers were all so kind and friendly. Only little thing I wouldve preferred is deshelled and cleaned king prawn.
