Liam Smith I always use reviews to gauge the metric from somewhere this place ticked all the boxes. Chinese place that does fish and chips? CHECK - THEY NEVER MESS THIS UP. Chinese place with a review from someone who is actually from China that calls it authentic? DOUBLE CHECK. Yep, needless to say, I shut my eyes and placed an order for 50 quids worth of food to try as much as possible with my Mum as I lived in Hong Kong years ago and there arent many places that are doing good Cantonese food (because in the UK we are very used to a specific taste with Chinese food so they all do the same thing regardless where they are from, even though most will say theyre from Peking). Absolutely phenomenal find. Xiexie!

ItsAir InHere Normally go to the one in Caversham but for a change came to this one in lower Earley and it did not disappoint! Food was way better and the waitress with the blue in her hair and piercings was fantastic and to top off the night a cat called Barney came and sat on the chair next to me and i had the best time ever. Anisha D Really good food. Well flavoured, good portion sizes and everything is super fresh. Only thing I would change is that it would be nice to have a proper side salad (e.g. tomatoes / cucumber etc) with the baby chicken, rather than just onions.

Tharunreddy .Kunduru I had a great experience at Biryani Lounge! The food was absolutely delicious — especially the biryani. You can really taste the spices and flavors in every bite. The portions were generous, and everything came out fresh and hot. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the place felt clean and comfortable. It’s a great spot whether you’re eating in or grabbing takeout. If you’re a fan of Indian food (or just love good food in general), this place is definitely worth trying.
