5 /5 Henry Ojo: I’m up still thinking about the food, I ordered hours ago. I had to come and leave a review. I am a chef myself in the African cuisine and tasted many different Caribbean takeaway. This is hands down the best Caribbean food I have tasted overall. Only advice is, change plantain supplier as they are never ripe or sweet to complement food. Although the restaurant forgot my jerk sauce once, it’s honestly 10’s from overall!

5 /5 Alison McDonald: Oh my word! Finally, real Jamaican flavours have arrived in Medway! I had a beef patty and the lunch time deal (a main, side and drink for £12.99) choosing oxtail, rice and peas and a normal soft drink. It was delicious!! Hands down the best rice and peas I think I’ve been able to find in Medway… even down to the colour and coconut creaminess. I’ve found chefs tend to shy away from the real seasoning, especially spice, for the Medway palette but not here. Oxtail isn’t an overly spicy dish anyway but there should definitely be a warmth to it, and there very much is here. The depth of colour, thickness of gravy and level of seasoning is where it’s supposed to be. The meat is soft and succulent. I could smell the jerk cooking from out on the street! The lady in Dockside best watch out, some competition has arrived! I can’t wait to try more! PS. I totally should have taken a photo but I munched it too quick lol

5 /5 Nkemdirim: This has instantly become our new fave takeaway. Even my husband has been won over & hes never enjoyed Caribbean food. Weve found ourselves waiting for Fridays & Saturdays so we can get our fix. They havent been open during the festive period which makes us sad but we understand & hope theyre having a well-earned lovely break. Hopefully theyll be back v soon!

5 /5 Amel Akhatar: I would like to say the best Caribbean food in Kent! The service is top tier and the quality of the food is amazing. They gave me big portions and the owner came to deliver to my door out of kindness after an issue with deliveroo order I had, so I made a complaint to her directly and she made her way to give me so much extra food on the house that same evening! Please order directly to the restaurant and pick up your food from them. I will never use deliveroo again as I will be ordering directly from them and thank you so much for the food again! The whole family is very happy and will be repeat customer from now on! Have a lovey day !

5 /5 rkk B.: Amazingggg! I first tried their food at the Taste Of the Caribbean event in Gillingham this year and the customer service was absolutely amazing despite how busy it was. Went back there and again, amazing customer service, always greeting you with a smile (which is rare for me when going to other Caribbean restaurants). All of the food I’ve tried so far has never disappointed me yet! I was really sick not long ago and I bought some soup through Uber Eats and it immediately brought back so many memories growing up, it was so flavoursome and hearty. I will be coming here all of the time with my OH (he is Nigerian and he loves the food so so much).
