Mohamed Benjdia Rendezvous Café in Beckenham is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with such a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff are genuinely lovely and make you feel right at home. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the food is fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee or sitting down for a relaxed brunch, the quality and service never disappoint. It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to because it just gets everything right. Highly recommend to anyone in the area — easily one of Beckenham’s best cafés!

salim vahora Had food there twice. Biryani waa nice. Also had chicken leg which was decent taste as I like spicy but it was not spicy enough for me ( personal preference). Waiting to try their egg dishes

Gisèle JayCee Had a great experience at Hive. We opted for French toast & Egg Royale on the brunch menu but also added a burrata heritage tomato. Portions were great so we were able to share each dish. Food was delicious and service was also amazing. Special mention to Redha who took the time to accommodate our needs. Would definitely return again.

James Doherty Superb cafe. Great atmosphere and always great value. I’ve become a regular after hospital appointments. It’s a great change of scene for anyone spending time in the hospital, or waiting for other. And it’s got a fantastic local feel too, even though many guests come from Hampstead Heath or the Royal Free. This is rare in London and very very welcome.

Ilyas Kirkan This restaurant is just great. I have been so many times both on my own and with various friends. And I am actually missing it right now as it’s yummy delish! Make sure you go with a bunch of friends as it’s all about sharing the various cold and hot starter meze platters as well as the main dishes. This way you can try the different tastes and flavours from all over Middle East to explore and make up your own combo. My pics are from two different occasions and show my favourite combinations. My all favourite and the staff knows is their signature dish: chicken in yogurt, pumpkin in yogurt, mixed pickles and rice. Although right now I wouldn’t say no to their tender lamb tagine with rice, pickles and tabbouleh salad. It’s not all about meat as half of their menu is actually vegetarian and vegan dishes. If you like cocktails then I suggest their spicy margarita or the zer signature cocktail. And I can assure you that one leads to another … Enjoy your journey in this cosy little spot in London Dalston - Stoky where it’s all freshly made everyday. When a dish is finished then it’s finished for the day.
