5 /5 YEO JOUNG SUH: Everything was excellent! We ate boudani Afghani (one of staff’s recommendation, aubergine dish) was really spot on. Hot potato and other starter was nice as well! Chicken bbq was crispy outside and moist inside. Also portion was generous as well. They gave us free rice and tea! Staff was kind and very helpful. We didn’t expect this but it was one of the best meals amongst middle eastern restaurants in London.

If you’re Indian, you’ll notice a distinct flavour compared to Indian cuisine—it has its own unique taste. Afghan dishes highlight the natural flavours of the meat with subtle seasoning, which may feel unusual at first but is satisfying. Definitely worth trying if you’re open to authentic cuisine; it won’t disappoint. Don’t miss their special Afghan green tea—it’s a great complement to the meal..

5 /5 Sayed Ahmadi: We attended a hosted special function at Masa Restaurant where they reserved the back room for over 50 guests. From start to finish, they took great care of us and made everything run smoothly. The Afghan food was amazing and the service was par excellent. The qabli palaw was fantastic, really flavorful and perfectly cooked. The chicken, mantoo and other dishes genuinely tasted homemade, comforting, and wholesome and not heavily spiced. Everything felt well balanced and healthy. A great experience overall and a wonderful place for both events and dining. Highly recommended.

We ordered the Challow Kabab Kobeda (lamb and chicken) and the Chicken BBQ—both were delicious. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service was efficient throughout. Highly recommended.
