4 /5 Philip TattsbridgeAKAshoebridge: Top, top tucker! Unusual, flavoursome and engaging cuisine. The wild mushroom pasta (with morels obvs) and the ox cheek were standout dishes. I loved the steak tartar too. The wine I’m afraid was disappointing. All organic, which I suspect drives their selection above taste. I tried 4 of the incredibly pretentiously dressed sommelier’s recommends. And the people watching was 6 ⭐️ Overall a very impressive product despite the underwhelming wine.

5 /5 Shanaz: Set in an old bank building just off Exmouth Market, this place is super cool in an understated way. We booked counter seats to watch the chefs in action - not the comfiest, but in keeping with the building’s style (loved the drawer storage for cutlery and menus!). The food was excellent, especially the mussel pil pil which is a must-try along with salted cod churros. Beautifully presented dishes and really attentive service throughout. They even moved us to a table when they noticed my friend was uncomfortable, which was much appreciated. Would happily return.

5 /5 Stanislav Tepikin: Popped here for lunch and it actually exceeded expectations. The only real downside is the noise level it’s an open kitchen and the acoustics make it pretty loud, so keep that in mind if youre looking for a quiet vibe. ​The food is a total winner, especially if you’re into mushrooms. The Truffle Vol Au Vent was incredible, with super flaky pastry and a really rich sauce. The Mushroom Reginette was also a highlight the pasta had a great bite to it and was packed with flavor and toppings. For snacks, the Salt Cod Churros were spot on, and the Spanakopita was a hit too, basically a crispy roll stuffed with a ton of spinach and cheese. The Mussel Pil Pil on toast was tasty but a bit too oily for my liking. The Side Salad was really fresh and helped cut through all that richness. ​Service was lovely very friendly. We had the Fabrizio Vella orange wine, which was a great shout and paired perfectly with the meal. Even though the mains are a bit overpriced and the place is noisy, the food quality is definitely there. Not sure I’d be a regular, but it’s a must visit for the mushroom dishes alone.

5 /5 Mike Kelly: Seriously good food and excellent service. I have seen some reviews about portion size and value for money but couldn’t disagree more. You pay for the quality and that was outstanding. The pork was genuinely one of the best bits of meat I have ever eaten in my life.

4 /5 Alicia P: What a beautiful restaurant! The deco is outstanding. The food is brilliant, very unique platting, open kitchen, and very friendly and professional staff. We order the mussels, the chickpeas + spinach dish, the chicken, the pasta, and the cod, everything was delicious. Thank you Morchella! I would recommend !
