Mr Flames Peri Peri - (Near Berkshire, South East)

Andrew (Snowdog) In this day and age its quite difficult to get a very decent meal for less than £10. I had a toasted sausage bap and a coke for £7.50. Can I find anything to complain about? No! The bap was really nicely toasted, and buttered as well. Sausages were piping hot and cooked through and a medium coke is a fairly decent size compared to some bars. The staff are casual and not over the top, they speak to you like they see you every day, and its a relaxed approach like that, that keeps me coming back. Normally when I go to eat I dont want something special, I dont want to be upsold a product that I have no interest in and here thats all avoided by that one question: "anything else at all?" And as soon as a no is heard, they leave you to it, which is exactly what I want when I go somewhere to eat. Service was also really quick, from sitting down to receiving food it couldnt have been any more than 15 minutes which is absolutely brilliant. I urge more people to come to Mr Munch as its Basingstokes answer to an actual cafe, that ISNT a branded restaurant or coffee shop. One more big thing I want to point out is that you can get a breakfast plate ALL day. I dont always take that option but its nice to know its available. So if youre in Basingstoke give it a try, you wont leave disappointed.

Claudia The food was so good! We’ve been on the hunt for a good Caribbean takeaway close by without having to travel to London for ages and we’re so glad to have found this one. We got brown stew chicken with rice and peas and curry goat with rice and peas, a beef pattie and dumplings and it all tasted amazing and the portions were generous and had good meat to rice ratio. Best Caribbean food we’ve had in a long time. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you Yard Style!

AB MBE The food was lovely and came quick. The service was excellent and very polite. The reasoning for the atmosphere being 3 stars is because the music is pretty loud and it’s quite an open area in the town centre which isn’t my favourite (personal preference). Would eat here again!

Indulekha Arun A gem of a place! Beautiful, little cosy restaurant with lovely food and lovely staff. We ordered Nepalese Chicken curry, Fulka Rotis, Chilli Momos and Saag Palak. The food was yum. Everything was very fresh and tasted authentic. We also tried their Gurkha Beer, which was surprisingly smooth and light. The chilli momos could have been a bit more spicy though, but still good. The staff were very warm and welcoming. We had a delightful experience. Definitely recommend.

Sumaya Ahmed Weve ordered from JS Gourmet a few times now and always enjoy the freshly cooked meals. Its also great that they take into account the different spices levels we ask for, theyre the first place weve been to where they actually give mild items like pakoras when we ask for mild. Summer Always a pleasure visiting the M&S cafe. Staff are wonderful. Atmosphere is great. Most of the time there menu is great however visited a couple time recently and everything except a couple of items seem to be out of stock on the food menu. They do a baby club on a Tuesday on the sparks app. Highly recommend.
