Nande Afro Caribbean Lounge and Restaurant - (Near Havering, South East)

1 /5 Baksh Karim (Karim): On Google, it was advertised as Afro-Caribbean, but when I walked in, I was greeted by a Nigerian lady and then discovered that everyone working there was Nigerian. It should be advertised as African-Caribbean, as about 50% of the food was Nigerian/African. I ordered oxtail with rice and peas and a Malta Guinness. Only a few pieces of oxtail were included, and there was way too much rice for the amount of oxtail. As a Caribbean food lover, I was disappointed — nothing tasted authentic. The rice had no coconut whatsoever, and the oxtail was tasteless. The only thing that tasted good was the Malta Guinness.

1 /5 Bia De Oliveira: went for a nice meal, food tasted like it was off, fufu tasted and smelled like cheesy feet, hair was found on the egusi soup, and was overcharged, would not go back.

5 /5 Sam Raveen: Fantastic food, we had Curry goat, Jerk Chicken, Rice & Peas , Pepper Prawns and Rum punch it was delightful. Ive been looking for an authentic Caribbean restaurant for some time, so glad to find this place.

2 /5 Stephanie Alexander: Ordered for the first time. Order was delayed so food was just warm not sure if that was due to Uber eats or restaurant. Mac & cheese too small a potion for £6 and clearly wasn’t fresh. The cheese on top was rock hard and not edible. The patty was small also and tasted just ok. Quite disappointed by the whole experience

5 /5 andy b: I met Bonnie today when I visited to collect some food. The meal was beautiful. Fall off the bone chicken curry, wonderful rice and peas, delicious mac and cheese, a tasty chicken patty and some beautiful soup (the name of which I can’t recall). Bonnie is such a welcoming and kind host. I’ll definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu. This restaurant is a ray of sunshine - thoroughly recommended.
