4 /5 Chris Barclay: I visited the Holloway Nando’s with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while. We ordered our meal along with two glasses of wine. To my surprise, we were served the wine in regular drinking glasses because they had run out of wine glasses. This was very disappointing, especially considering the price of the wine.
We spoke to the manager on duty, whose explanation was that they were not expecting many customers to order wine. However, I could clearly see a table of around 6–7 guests who all had wine glasses, which made the explanation feel unsatisfactory. The manager simply said, “It won’t happen next time,” but frankly, there won’t be a next time. I believe this branch should ensure they have enough proper glassware for their customers.
On a positive note, Nathan from the team provided excellent service. He was attentive, polite, and showed great customer service skills. Well done, Nathan — keep up the great work!
