N.A.R Ceylon Kothu Grand - (Near Harrow, South East)

1 /5 Nuwan Peiris: One of the worst places I have ever visited. I was very hungry and just was grabbing a snack. The egg and mutton roll were burst. It was smelly. Most probably fried with oil used several times. She said "I will make it fresh for you." But she sold me old rotten food. The previous owners 6-7 years before did well. Not its not a place to visit.

5 /5 Dilany dila: We ordered seafood fried rice, chicken noodles, mutton kothu it was the best foods we had after so long. Taste 100%, customer service outstanding and over all 10/10. Mostly the foods were too oily, salty or some sort of issues but with N.A.R all the foods we had was absolute best. Everyone in our function enjoyed the foods and gave so much compliments. Thank you so much for the tasty and delicious foods. We will definitely visit again. To improve: it would be nice to have a big place to sit and eat with families. Other then that no concerns at all. Once again thank you so much.

5 /5 Hisham Mohamed: We had an amazing Eid feast from NAR Ceylon Kohtu Grand! We ordered two takeaway Sahans, and the portion sizes were more than generous—easily enough for 10 adults and 5 children. The mutton biryani was absolutely outstanding, one of the best I’ve ever had. Every curry was packed with flavor and delicious. We’ll definitely be ordering again!

4 /5 Ijas Ahamed: A decent Sri Lankan restaurant around Harrow, offering a good variety of Sri Lankan dishes. I’ve visited around 6–7 times. I’m a big fan of their special ghee rice and curry, it’s £15 and the portion is easily enough for two people. Their fried rice, kottu, and other dishes have been good overall. However, I’ve noticed that the taste changes slightly each time I order. The food is still enjoyable, but it’s hard to know what to expect, as the flavour isn’t always consistent. It would be great if they could improve the consistency of ingredients and taste, and make the flavours a bit closer to the authentic Sri Lankan style. All the best to the team.

4 /5 Alina Sss: I had a magic bag via TGTG as I was interested in trying whatever they had on offer, as it was my very first experience buying food from here. The people were friendly, I received a lot of different snacks (fritters, rolls), pal roti with coconut sambar, a small portion of deep fried chicken bits with chillies and curry leaves, and the chef cooked a fresh portion of chicken biriani for me. Everything was delicious, mostly spicy and warming. They even threw in a can of soda, which aas great as my bus ran late and I got thirsty on the way home. My only objection was that I found a few bits of bone in the fish fritter, I dont normally eat fish tins with bones, but that is my personal preference, and Im sure most people wouldnt mind, as you normally eat it altogether. My favourites were the biryani and the pol roti, which were delicious, but also looked pretty. Ill definitely go back when Im in the area. Sadly, the pics were taken after I already ate some and repackaged the food so it takes less space in the fridge.
