Prezzo Italian Restaurant Godalming - (Near Surrey, South East)

5 /5 Richard KEENE: Just returned to a favourite restaurant which has been converted from a fire station and retains old charm in a lovely town of Godalming. The manager Eugene made us feel very welcome and was prompt with the service. He made every effort to engage and was a great example of how to make the customer feel important. Great return visit.

3 /5 Emilia Grzesik: Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The focaccia served was nothing like traditional focaccia and seemed to be made from a completely different type of dough. My salad was acceptable, and my daughter’s pizza was fine, though it could have been much crispier. The fries were let down by oil that did not taste fresh. On a positive note, my mojito was excellent. However, the restaurant itself did not feel very clean. There were noticeable cobwebs, and the overall appearance suggested that high‑level cleaning had been neglected. When we first walked in, it wasn’t even clear whether the place was open. The restaurant was not busy, so the food arrived quickly, but despite that convenience, I would not choose to return.

5 /5 Michael Morrison: Great food and service. Fantastic building. I remember it as a garage when a child. Only been around lunch time. Very quiet. I hope it is busier in the evening. We have visited Staines Prezzo. Like chalk and cheese.

3 /5 Busby _24: Booked for birthday celebrations. The food was ok, some of the dishes were a bit dry and the Christmas calzone was not very warm in the middle. The waitress forgot our water for the table, so had to ask again and then they muddled up one of the main courses, so had a slight wait for the correct one. Frustrating that I had two vouchers, 1 for a free bottle of Processco and 1 for 25% off food but told could not use the two on the same night, which was annoying. The restaurant was nicely decorated for Christmas thou and looked very festive and the staff did their best to rectify the mistakes quickly hence, 3 star rating.

5 /5 Tom Constable: Just gets better and better. Always quiet and I cant understand why! Really great service, superb pizzas, great Aperol Spritz and a bargain with the Prezzo app!
