Sea Salt - Surrey

Chris Taylor We came last Saturday en route to our overnight accommodation. We like Fish and Chips and reading the reviews of Sea Salt we decided to go. We were not disappointed the portions were huge and everything cooked to perfection.. The small seating area with pots of tea available too was ideal. The friendly and polite manner of the staff was lovely. If we were local it would definitely be a go to place. Hopefully we will return thankyou

JusThai Restaurant & Cocktail Bar Reigate - Surrey

Rating: 5 /5
Deborah Bynre It’s great to see Thai food back on form in Reigate with the reopening of JusThai, formerly known as Thai Taste. The previous restaurant was sorely missed locally, so I was eager to try a takeaway and see if the magic was still there , I’m happy to say it absolutely is. I started with the duck spring rolls, which were excellent. The filling was rich and juicy with plenty of flavour, wrapped in a crisp shell that had clearly been cooked fresh rather than sitting around waiting to be reheated. For the main, I chose chicken chilli basil with steamed rice. I asked if the kitchen could prepare the chicken in the traditional Thai street-food style , finely chopped and add extra chilli and they were more than happy to accommodate. This attention to authenticity really paid off. The dish had a wonderful balance of heat, savoury depth, and fragrant basil, delivering that unmistakable Thai street-food character. The steamed rice was also perfectly cooked, light, fluffy, and distinct grain by grain, which is often overlooked but makes all the difference. Even as a takeaway, the food was still piping hot by the time I got home, which speaks to the care in preparation and packaging. If this meal is anything to go by, JusThai is a very welcome return to the Reigate food scene and one I’m very happy to see back.

Phil Drayton Here on Sunday, to celebrate a family birthday. We had 3 lovely Sunday lunches and a steak and ale pie. Our second visit and glad we returned. Generous portions of pork, lamb, beef, vegetables, and potatoes. The steak pie was rich and flavoursome all washed down with gravy. The staff are attentive and accommodated a request to move tables without hesitation. Thank you for a great Sunday roast birthday.

Bonita Du plessis Ordered through Deliveroo and had one of the best takeaway experiences I’ve had in a long time. Shortly after placing the order, the Daniel actually called to say they had no drivers available and that he would personally deliver the food himself, which was amazing customer service already. We ordered the Green Chilli Burger, Grilled Chicken Burger, and the Messy Fries, and everything was incredible. The burgers were honestly some of the best I’ve had, even better than most restaurants. Fresh, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly. The messy fries were loaded and absolutely delicious too. The fact the he personally delivered the order really shows how much they care about their customers. Great food and great service. 10/10, would definitely recommend and will be ordering again.

The Ivory Lounge - Surrey

Rating: 4.9 /5
Stuart Cameron We booked The Ivory Lounge for my 60th birthday celebration for around 70 guests, and from start to finish the experience was excellent. Georgina (George) looked after us brilliantly. We had several conversations in the lead‑up to the event to confirm numbers, decorations, welcome drinks and the food to be served on the night. George followed up every discussion with a clear email summary, which gave us real confidence that everything was in hand. We were able to access the venue early to drop off balloons and the cake, which made things much easier. The night itself went by in a blur—in the best possible way—with everyone having a fantastic time. The pianist and then the band were upbeat, lively and great at handling requests. You know you’re onto a winner when the dance floor fills up early and stays busy all night (right up until 2am!). Drinks were what I’d consider standard London prices, which feels fair for a music lounge in Reigate. I’d thoroughly recommend The Ivory Lounge if you’re looking for a vibrant venue with a live‑band, jukebox‑style atmosphere. A brilliant night all round.
