5 /5 Giancarlo Beato: All you can eat, Japanese? For £22 pp? Count. Me. In. We had a great time here. Its a great family restaurant. The staff was kind and very helpful. And the food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely come again, and hopefully remember to take pictures of the food.

5 /5 carlo bragagnolo: We stopped off at this restaurant on the way to the IFS cloud for our lunch. The service was excellent and from Suraya and both she and her husband were friendly and good company throughout our lunch. Suraya gave both my wife samples of Japanese and Iranian Tea as well as British tea which was quite and education and we really enjoyed this stop off. In addition the food was excellent and we had no complaints whatsoever about the overall experience.

5 /5 Kaden Ellis: Don’t really understand the previous reviews, scaffolding plays a big role for this restaurants success, and me personally I had a good time, waiter was very nice and food was good as well, I ordered the chicken katsu curry with an Asahi, and both were really tasty and fresh. Hygiene wasn’t a problem at all everything looked clean and well kept. While waiting for my food, I enjoyed the amazing view outside and even went for a short walk, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Overall, good food, nice atmosphere, and lovely service. I would definitely come back and recommend it to others

1 /5 Tia Le-Ma: This was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had in my life. We ordered the seared salmon dish (which was barely seared), the miso grilled aubergine dish (which was one of the two saviours of the night), the chicken yakisoba (the other decent item even though the chicken was extremely dry) and the sushi lover platter which came with two maki rolls (which was somehow fishy despite there being such little fish in the roll), sashimi (which clearly the chef didn’t know how to slice) and nigiri rolls (which came in such a huge ball which was as big as a golf ball and they clearly did not prep the rice properly with the vinegar and kombu like proper Japanese restaurants). We also ordered the lychee martini which was £14 but felt like it came from a can and topped up with extra vodka, and a matcha green tea where they served us black tea instead. When we recommunicated that we wanted the matcha green tea and not the black tea, the waitress said they didn’t have that on the menu (even though it was). Management must have changed but the photos we saw online form other reviews did not look like what we had in real life - awful meal. The bill came to a total of ~£130 however they did give us 50% off the food luckily due to an offer, which we weren’t aware of beforehand. We’re not one to waste food so a lot was eaten which sounds very hypocritical but I would definitely not come here again nor recommend it to anyone.

1 /5 Gina: I took my partner here and I can honestly say this was one of the worst places we have ever eaten which was a real shame as it was for a birthday. I bought a Wowcher which was advertised as a Japanese buffet, very misleading as the buffet consisted of no Japanese food. What was on offer was bland noodles with veg, packet salad with cucumber and avocado (no dressing), plain boiled rice, edamame beans (warm for some reason), fried dumplings and spring rolls, and fried chicken, none of these are Japanese, and they were all prepared badly, bland, Luke warm and overcooked. We were told we could also order one sushi roll each as well, we asked for the softshell crab rolls to which we were told we couldnt order that one (I assume because it was the most expensive), and ended up having to order two dragon rolls instead. Despite there being no other diners, the dragon rolls took 45 minutes to prepare and when we were served they were assembled very poorly, the chef has obviously no skill with making sushi and the roll was unevenly cut and rice was falling apart. It was also very bland, much like the rest of the food. Calling it a Japanese buffet is very misleading as the food in the buffet was mostly Chinese and the only Japanese food that could be have you could only order one of. I also bought the Wowcher for £37 and it was described as being discounted from £108, which was also not true as on the door they had a sign saying the buffet was a set price of £22 per person, which would mean the price should have been £44 all together so it wasnt much of a saving. It did come with two glasses of prosecco which would have upped the price but not by that much. We swapped out for soft drinks but were given two small glasses of coke, not a full can or a glass bottle, they were also flat. The restaurant itself was decorated nicely but it was freezing. The servers were nice but asked us to pay an additional £10 for service charge even after already paying for the Wowcher and service ourselves as it was a buffet. To top it off we both felt unwell after the meal. We definitely wont be returning here and I feel bad this was my partners birthday meal. Do not waste your money here.
