5 /5 Saron Thomas: If you’re looking for a homely atmosphere and authentic flavours, I highly recommend this restaurant. I tried the Pathiri with vegetable stew and Puttu with beef — both were absolutely delicious. The place is clean, welcoming, and has a warm vibe. The owners are wonderful too, offering genuinely pleasant and positive service that made my experience even better.

1 /5 Kev Hardy: I hate writing bad reviews but I had to give feedback on our experience this evening. My advice is to avoid this restaurant at all costs. I usually avoid anywhere that is entirely empty when I arrive but my partner, who is from South India, wanted to give it a try (she misses the beautiful food of her homeland). So we stayed. Unfortunately, had we read the reviews beforehand, we wouldnt have made that mistake. I have been to India several times and have enjoyed the wonderful food, especially in Tamil Nadu. But they would be ashamed that someone has set up a restaurant pretending to serve delicious South Indian cuisine. None of the food was fresh, and none of it of an acceptable quality. We had an onion bhaji starter which was probably nice when it was first cooked, but that must have been several days ago and it was now very past its best. My partner ordered a lamb biryani. Now, I have had quite a few biryanis over the years and this wasnt one by any stretch of the imagination. It was a very small lamb curry with some under-cooked rice on top. It was edible, which was a bonus, but not what we ordered. The chicken fry we ordered was dry and hard. I ate it because I was starving, but it wasnt enjoyable. The cauliflower Manchurian was an overcooked inedible mess. And the Paratha was cold and dry, also inedible. My suspicion is that none of the food is prepared fresh and is being reheated (and over-cooked) to order. I asked for the inedible items to be removed from the bill which they did without argument - I think they are probably used to being asked to do this. I fail to understand how they are still in business, but dont expect them to stay that way for very long.

5 /5 laura: The food was amazing! I went with my friends a few months ago and the food was INCREDIBLE!! The waiters were extremely nice and treated us well, checking up on us every couple of minutes. It didn’t feel like they were rushing us, and they always take your dietary ideals in mind when cooking (e.g vegetarian, lactose intolerant) The atmosphere was calm and no one was disturbing, and there was soft music playing in the background. Such a great place overall.

1 /5 Aneetta: We visited this restaurant for the first time for a family gathering with four adults and two children. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the seating area was comfortable, giving a good first impression. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. Many of the dishes we wanted were unavailable, though the staff mentioned a new menu would be introduced soon. We were told there might be a short wait, but we did not expect to wait over an hour and half to get anything. When the food finally arrived, portions were extremely small and the flavours quite bland. One of the dishes — a chicken leg ordered for the children — was undercooked and still pink inside which is unacceptable! After two hours of wait, several items were still missing, and with hungry, restless kids, we decided to request the bill and leave. This was the first time we are experiencing such service at a restaurant; i would have understood if the restaurant was extremely busy which it was not. There were only 2 other tables with less than a handful of customers. While the ambience was nice, the long delays, limited overpriced menu, and poor food quality made for a disappointing visit. Unfortunately, we would not consider this authentic Kerala cuisine and do not plan to return.
