4 /5 Pablo Amogus: Legendary fish and chips shop. Im not particularly a massive fan of this British delicacy yet the sheen fish bar never fails to disappoint. I come here once every couple of months with my friends and the quality and price of the food is brilliant! I went yesterday with my mate and all we got was a large portion of chips to share between the two of us and the portion was massive and it left us greatly satisfied. It was also not expensive at all (it all costed about 4 pounds) and they accepted cash which was good for me and my friend because we wanted to split the bill. The interior of the shop is very nice. It has a very seaside town feel to it due to the vibrant blue and white colours and it has some nice decorations including the steering wheel of a ship and some nice pictures on the wall. There is also a lot of space for you to sit due to there being two tables (or more), a large counter which you can eat on and also an outside section with a couple other tables. The service was great! We got our large portion in a couple minutes and it was served onto a massive plate (as seen in the picture) and they gave us sauces and vinegar and salt and all of the basic essentials for a good portion of chips to share. The staff was friendly as far as Im aware even though the interaction wasnt very long and they were nice as we made our way out of the shop.

5 /5 Will: I like this place and we order from it regularly. My wife really likes the fish, the chips are great, and exceptionally good chicken strips. I’m not a huge fan of their pies though I will say. Staff is quick and friendly. If you want a fish and chips, this place does what it says on the tin.

5 /5 Sila Gul: Honestly one of the best fish and chip shops I’ve been to in a long time. The fish was super fresh and flaky with a perfectly crispy, golden batter, not greasy at all, just right. The chips were amazing too, thick-cut, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. Portion sizes were generous and everything came out piping hot. I also tried the mushy peas and curry sauce, and both were spot on. The staff were really lovely and welcoming, and the service was quick even though the place was busy.
