3 /5 Abeer Mujahid: We ordered Beef Nihari, chicken tikka and seekh kabab paratha roll. The portion sizes were good however the taste was mid. As a Karachiite, the Nihari didnt slap the way it should and the paratha in paratha roll was just ok. We had their breakfast previously, which served the authentic Karachi taste, but this time the food was just satisfactory.

5 /5 Shadab Raja: I had an amazing Suhoor experience at Taste of Karachi! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. Every dish was perfectly prepared — from the soft, fluffy parathas to the rich nihari and flavorful chai. The service was quick and friendly, even during the busy Suhoor hours. The staff was welcoming and made sure everything was served hot and on time. The atmosphere was comfortable and perfect for a peaceful Suhoor with family and friends. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a satisfying and authentic Suhoor experience. Definitely coming back again!

The lamb biryani had authentic Karachi-style flavour and well-balanced spices, though it was served cold, which slightly reduced the overall enjoyment. The portion size was generous, providing good value for money. The ambience was pleasant and nicely presented, making it a comfortable spot for dining.

5 /5 Muhammad Abdul Rehman: If youre looking for authentic flavors on the High Street, Taste of Karachi is a solid choice. The overall quality of the food is good, and it’s clear they know their way around traditional spices. The absolute standout for me was the Charsi Karahi. It was incredibly tasty, rich in flavor, and cooked perfectly. Definitely the highlight of the meal and a dish I’d come back for. However, I did have one disappointment: the beef behari boti. While the seasoning was on point, the meat itself was very tough and difficult to eat, which was a shame given how good the rest of the spread was. Aside from that one texture issue, it’s a great spot with a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend the Karahi!

5 /5 Javi: Just off the high street so a convenient place to sit & eat. Nearby parking would be the Groves Car Park. Food is absolutely amazing. I had Nihari, seekh kebab, garlic naan, Lahori cholley, samosa chaat. Portions are big so be cautious when you order. Taste is great. Decor of the shop is quite nice. 7-8 families (each of size 5/6) can be seated at one time. They also have a sit-on-the-floor arrangement. It’s comfortable with nice pillows. 15 people can sit at a time. Service is quick and staff is well spoken. Drawback? They accept cash but you can do bank transfer there & then. Also only one toilet space but it is quite clean and decorated. Overall, had a good time and this place is well recommended
