Tesco Cafe - (Near , South East)

1 /5 Andy Butterworth: Can someone explain why you advertise as being open until 16.00 on a Sunday but at 14.07 we are told we can only have toasties or cake as you are closing up?? I would stretch to an hour for closing up but 2 hours, come on?? The staff clearly couldn’t be bothered why do you pay their wages if they don’t want to work? I came out of my way to use a Tesco Cafe I won’t bother in future I will use the Asda cafe I passed on the way

5 /5 David Badman: We had lunch there on Saturday 7/2/26. The staff were helpful, polite and courteous. Had toasties, chips and macaroni cheese, great quality and service. We will definitely return

5 /5 Becky: Great lunch at the Tesco Cafe. It was relatively busy, but staff were beyond helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Halloumi burger and the jacket potato were both delicious.

2 /5 Cat Lisa: Food is hit and miss, waiting time can be at least 20 mins. Ive stood in the line to order food 15 mins in the past. Not enough staff. I found hair in breakfast, the staff should wear hair nets. When I pointed out the hair on my plate within minutes the staff put hair nets on! Funny that! My granddaughter who is only 6 wouldnt finish her breakfast she was disgusted by the hair. The cafe only uses tesco own sauces even the Weatherspoons use brand names! Trays are filthy, cutlery sometimes has old food on it. Tea comes out luke warm from the minute its out the boiler, I think tesco need a better boiler. Give it a miss!

5 /5 Adépalady: I haven’t been to the Tesco cafe for years, but after a disappointing experience at the Sainsbury’s cafe I thought I’d give this ago again. Well what a surprise!!!! Totally different from how it used to be!!! Previously this was a hot buffet style breakfast, take your tray and plate tell the staff what you wanted from the already cooked options. Now EVERYTHING is cooked fresh and to order. And boy o boy it’s fresh. You can even choose between toast or fried bread…. When the food arrives it’s piping hot and I mean hot. Eggs are perfect the fried bread is crispy and not too greasy. Very tasty sausages bacon and all other components on the plate. For the price you can’t get a better breakfast locally. Much more tasty than Spoons.
