5 /5 Amanda Amanda: Best pub vegan burger I have had, I went for the moving mountains plant based one, lovely and moist. My friend enjoyed her nut roast. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Great country pub. Good prices, especially since Im from London where many of the pubs are expensive and not great food. If I was local Id definitely be here all the time.

4 /5 marcus oppenheim: Its a lovely place but the food is very underwhelming. I had the Sussex beef burger, it didnt have any flavour whatsoever, very bland. The fries were great though. Squid was average again, salad wasnt great either. The staff are lovely and the local beers are very nice too. I will return, but probably just for drinks.

4 /5 Alicia Bevan-King: Stopped for a meal after a walk nearby. The service was great, really friendly staff and the south downs cider on tap was fantastic. Had a great steak thay was cooked perfectly and lots of options on the menu. The pub has a lovely cosy feel but the restaurant area and toilets could have been a bit cleaner, there were some dead bugs and food on the curtains. Nice garden out the back for warmer days.

5 /5 Keith Johnston: We came here for a Valentines day lunch after a lovely walk at Seaford Head. I had the BEST pizza - tasty toppings and perfect base. My husband said the vegan pie was the best hed ever tasted. The service was fantastic and pub was warm and comfortable and perfect for us being dog-friendly. We were too full for pudding as tbe portions are extremely generous. Will visit again and try one next time! 5 stars!
