4 /5 DeepDownDirty Record Label: Lovely riverside pub which is a perfect place to meet up with family or hang out with friends. Cosy, with plenty of seating inside and outisde. Although you could be lucky to get a space during peaktimes, it is probably worth booking your space to avoid stress. Staff were lovely when we went today for a mid-afternoon meet up with new friends, teens and a tween. The Boaters is a dog-friendly pub so a great place for both owners and animals lovers. Fine for families with kids of any age. Portions (apart from the roast) are on the slightly small (most of us need to eat smaller portions in any case!) side but the food is ok. I wouldnt come here specifically for the food although it is perfectly pleasant.

5 /5 Christina CHilman: We had such a lovely time at The Boaters Inn. The Sunday roasts were generous, beautifully cooked and full of flavour – proper crispy roast potatoes, tender meat and all the trimmings. Even the bread and olives to start were a nice touch. What really stood out, though, was the atmosphere. It’s so refreshing to be somewhere where the staff genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. Everyone was warm, smiley and welcoming – which made the experience feel extra special. Huge shout-out to Sol and Courtney, who looked after us brilliantly. We left full, happy and already planning our next visit!

4 /5 Gus G: Have been going to this waterside pub for many years and its never disappointed with its simple menu or its more indeph offers. We settled for Sunday roast and crab linguine. All the dishes including the side order of roasted cauliflower were delicious and well prepared and so were the scotch eggs. The roast beef was very tender and perfectly cooked. The crab linguine was well prepared. Cold beers and prosecco. Apple crumble and sticky pudding all were fine. The only let down this was the lack of service, had to order our own drinks and deserts at the bar as there was no team members to be seen. Sometimes I wonder why the service charges are still added?

5 /5 Butler Bunny (Bunzo): Lovely place very warm, with very warm staff. I think a staff members child was on side as well and he was very polite despite being fairly young. Lovely food options which I didn’t try this time but as a first time visitor I’d say there’s a bit of something for everyone here .

5 /5 Katie Mackie: We had a brilliant experience at The Boaters Inn! From start to finish the service was outstanding. Sarah and Sol looked after us so well – friendly, attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. The food and drinks were fantastic, the atmosphere was relaxed yet lively, and the riverside setting made it even more special. We felt really welcomed and well cared for throughout. Thank you to Sarah, Sol and the whole team for making our visit such a pleasure – we’ll definitely be back!
