The Botanist Marlow - (Near Berkshire, South East)

4 /5 Kevin Williamson: We had a family lunch on a miserable wet Friday so not very busy. The staff were very nice and the food was good. I particularly liked the unusual food options amongst the usual selection of dishes. I asked for gravy with the vegetable pie and they happily supplied that. It was very quiet so the atmosphere could have been a bit better Thats not their fault though.

4 /5 Thomas: A cosy restaurant and pub, nicely decorated with an extensive menu. Food overall is good, the calamari starter was particularly good, the kebabs were alright and the rainbow salad was our least favourite. Friendly staff, checked in on us a few times during the meal and after, extremely prompt food service which was great as we’re rather hungry. One gripe - although everything was going swimmingly until we were served, it took ages for the table to cleared and getting a chance to ask for the bill, and then ages again for the bill to arrive and some more to pay - it was easily 30m+ between us finishing the meal and able to pay. Worth noting, the place was really busy (Saturday evening) so it could be down to that. Not a major issue and overall I’d recommend this place.

5 /5 Mel Price: We really enjoyed our meal here. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious with a great selection on the menu. There was a lovely atmosphere inside with some quiet live music on as well. Prefect if you’re looking for somewhere nice without it being overly expensive. Food was amazing!
