The Bull - (Near East Sussex, South East)

Sam Bullimore Ive never had a hot broth/Korean BBQ but was keen to try it so my Wife surprised me for my birthday. It was a great experience, the two people serving were super friendly and helpful. Explained some bits to us and how it all worked. Popped over to top things up when we needed it and also surprised me with a little birthday surprise. We live around an hour away but would happily return. The Kimchi Broth was fantastic and all the meat tasted of good quality. Also got to try some things Ive never had before which was great. Layout of the restaurant is really good, you dont ever feel cramped but they have lots of table options.

Robert Neary Our local Nandos for years. Always excellent service and food. Tried the new Xmas burger, very nice. Croquets a bit smaller than the pic but still very nice.

Matt Black Best fish and chips in Uckfield hands down have tried everywhere else! Homemade chips and the fish is awesome! Gave me a free bottle of vinegar with my order just cos they are good people! 5 star!

Harry Isbitt Saw a couple of no life bad reviewers on here. Great people, great food. Everytime myself/friends or family get a kebab it’s always Volkan. (I’m 23 lived in heathfield for my whole life pretty much) just got a quarter pounder with salt n vinegar chips. Boshh

Chris First visit to the Piltdown Man. The food was excellent. Well cooked and presented. The service was also brilliant; nothing was too much trouble. I also really liked the openness of the restaurant area and the pub in general. Plenty of room between tables. Probably great for family celebrations. I/we’ll be back.
