The Chequers Marlow - (Near Berkshire, South East)

4 /5 Thalia: Staff were lovely! We both got the trio roast and it was so tasty, big portions, meat was great quality. Really really happy! If we’re local we would come here all the time. Only thing stopping 5 stars were dogs being allowed in the restaurant. We don’t mind in the bar/pub area but not while eating dinner, especially with barking.

5 /5 Ade B: Another superb visit to The Chequers, Marlow. We went there to celebrate a birthday and from previous visits, knew the food was going to be fantastic. Our expectations weren’t disappointed; the steak was cooked to perfection and the treat of a birthday cake was most welcome. The setting is beautiful and the staff are always polite, friendly and helpful. Caiti ensured our meal service was excellent. We will definitely go back and wholeheartedly recommend this place for its location, service and quality of food.

4 /5 G: Room was right a above the air-conditioning. The room would have been nice but bits were falling off all over the place. Just maintenance was totally missing and when it ls supposed to be a night away its just sloppy. Nice pub and food and a great band on the Saturday night.

5 /5 Janet Bridden: A quaint looking pub on the High Street in Malow, but much larger inside than I thought. We had a great meal, really enjoyed it. Classic pub dishes of a burger and pie and mash, but absolutely delicious. and a great sticky toffee pudding to round it off too.

4 /5 Yvonne Waite: We stayed at the cheques for one night a nice pub and we had a live band brillant night good service If you are thinking off staying here be carefull as it has stairs to the rooms very narrow and steep. We stayed in room 7 not bad the room needs a revamp as the shower area cube was all dirty with black mould and a hole in the skirting board and all dust all round the floor no toilet roll holder and water is very luke warm a step in the room to the bathroom which is padded good job otherwise you would hurt your head nice bed and pillows nice touch with home biscuits from the chef
