Ella Travels I recently celebrated my birthday at Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay in Bishopgate and it was truly such a memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed and well taken care of. A special thank you to Chef Nude and Chef Nuji for the complimentary dishes — such a thoughtful and generous gesture that made my birthday celebration even more special. Everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Huge appreciation as well to Luca and Shabeeb for their warm, attentive, and friendly service throughout our stay. They made sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. Thank you for making my birthday celebration unforgettable. I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended!

Franciska Schmoll I really enjoyed the vibe, even from the outside, which is what prompted me to come and try Popolo. I just walked past and thought it looked super cosy and had a great looking menu. The kitchen is right there and I really enjoyed being able to see how the staff manage to create some simple but beautiful food. Cant go wrong with any of the dishes and it all made for a very lovely evening. They recommend 5-6 of the dishes if you are sharing between 2 people, we had 5 and that was a good amount. Thank you Popolo

Patrick Carr Right. The food is spectacular. If you can, try and sit at the bar where amazing Fatou is a waitress. She made genuinely stonkingly good recommendations that were perfect in terms of what we were looking for at lunch. She also looked after us so well. Wagyu gyoza (prepare to fight whoever you’re with for them), snow crab (my wife loved), JFC (my fave, get the spicy version). The chocolate and citrus mizumono dessert is also very special. My Mrs isn’t bothered about anything chocolate-y but thought it was great. I’m a choco-holic and agreed. PS - Electric Diner (just across the room) is great too. Chicken Waffles in on Friday ace. PPS - Stick around and go to the main Ned bar. They play really great live music in the evenings, on the stage (see pics).

Don R Campbell Warm welcome, informed and fun service accompanying the authentic food. 4 of us all very much enjoyed our food. In fact, our vegetarian friend said "This is the best arrabbiata I have enjoyed in my 60yrs." The veal was superb, subtle flavours, light breading. The salmon piece as a main was large and done to perfection (not overcooked as it often can be). The gluten free pasta (penne) portion was large and done very well. When in this neighborhood again, well return to try some of their other options. We sat upstairs, its cozy, comfortable and the glass ceiling added to the ambience

Eve S I’ve been a Grind customer for years, and the quality has never dropped. The baristas are skilful and accommodating, and every cup is made with care. The coffee is consistently great, and the service is excellent. Emily never disappoints with her wonderful hospitality. Highly recommend!

Khost Milad (Dr) Blacklock Shoreditch was an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The steak was truly outstanding in both flavour and quality – perfectly cooked, rich, juicy, and clearly prepared with real skill and care. Every bite felt deliberate and confident, exactly what you hope for from a restaurant known for meat. The sides were equally impressive and far from secondary; each one was full of flavour and thoughtfully prepared, complementing the main dish beautifully. We visited on a Friday night, and although the restaurant was very busy, everything felt calm and well organised. There was no sense of chaos or rushed service, which says a lot about how well the place is run. The staff were attentive, friendly and efficient throughout. We went for the “All In” option, which was an excellent choice. It included a starter and two sides, and for two people the total came to £63 including the service charge. For the quality, atmosphere and overall experience, it felt extremely good value. A restaurant that genuinely lives up to its reputation.
